TVS has introduced the engine as RTFi which is actually Race Tuned Fuel Injection technology. Actually, the same thing as Fi but TVS tunes the fuel system as per their techniques. You will be glad to hear that this new RTR 4V Fi engine can produce more power figures than the previous carburetor version. This current Fi engine can provide 17.55 PS maximum power and 14.8 Nm torque. RTR 4V carburetor edition can generate 16.5 PS maximum power.
This all-new TVS Apache RTR 160 4V Fi has 3 different riding modes which are urban, rain and sports. The engine can deliver 100% power in sports mode only. In Urban and Rain mode, this Fi engine can not produce more than 8000 rpm and that's why the mileage will improve in city rides. You must have to ensure sports mode for better acceleration. In the rain mode, the bike will be 100% efficient on ABS.
As like all other versions, TVS Apache RTR 160 4V Fi has SmartXconnect technology which will help a rider to navigate during the ride.
The headlight is also different from the previous edition. Now the parking light position is in the middle position.
To make this RTR more user-friendly and premium, TVS is offering 3 step adjustable clutch and brake lever.
TVS Auto Bangladesh Ltd. has introduced only one color in Bangladesh which is black red. This dual-tone color made this naked sports motorcycle more aggressive and sporty.
Previously, RTR 4V had eurogrip or remora tyre those road grip performance was not good enough. But finally, TVS Apache RTR 160 4V comes with CEAT tyre and we are expecting better performance.
Because of the new bullpup exhaust, the bike will be more perfect in the corner. The muffler is lightweight and more sports looking.
So, how was the performance in and we have observed this in this first impression review?
Actually, the riding performance and the taste remain the same. The fact is the mileage and the speed. A fuel injection bike should provide better mileage which we can't test during this short time ride. We have a plan to test ride this motorcycle and provide a test ride review of TVS Apache RTR 160 4V. Braking performance is slightly improved because of ABS and CEAT tyre but still we are not satisfied on it's braking. TVS Should try Nissin or Bybre caliper in this powerful naked bike.
