This SD improved the leg articulation, which was a big change considering the previous SD model kits (not the figures) have nearly nonexistent leg posability. And both frames were interchangeable so that it can be your own taste.
I am looking forward to SD Cross Silhouette line up of kits. I really hope that this time around, Bandai supports this and does a better job with this than the very very short lived and disappointing SD EX Standard line. I have no issues with spending a little more money on an SD kit if it means better design/engineering, more articulation, less dependency on stickers, etc.
I really like that the eyes are color-separated like that, but what I like more is that the initial release has all the parts available to make the Zeta-Zaku.
I have 3 of these kits. As the video states the color separation is quite good and the detail is also high. These are very nice kits but there are some issues. The legs sometimes come off at the hip too easily. I do recommend this new line. However be aware, as far as I know, there is very little if no compatibility with other SD lines.
The only saving grace for the EX-Standard is they can be customized with this CS inner frame. Maybe certain parts need to be heavily modified (like for example the legs) but it still possible due to the hollow rear legs.
Since usually all SD parts are huge, I hope they would eliminate as much stickers as they could in exchanges of more plastic parts - and this would give enough justice for this series :)
you do realize to make a high grade universal frame they would have to re-release every single kit right? and it would get boring over time. It's not going to happen. Even IBO had different frames.

here in italy is very expensive too, but importing (specially in bulk) cuts the costs dramatically. I usually buy from hobbylink japan, you should look there and maybe confront it with ebay(you can get some really good deals there too).
What a novel idea! And even using parts from other kits to customize your unique SD CS Gunpla's look is encouraged, too! On a side-note... If they could make the NZ-999 Neo Zeong in 1/144 scale, then why don't they do the same with other Universal Century MAs like the Bigro, Zakrello, Val Varo, etc. in 1/144 scale?

I'm interested. Now SD Gundam got their own Super Mode. The Cross Silhoutte version also kinda reminding me Nxedge Style figure, but this version is interchangeable with SD so it's the plus point for Cross Silhouette.
I think they're trying to emulate the NxEdge style. From what I remember from older promos of the CSSD, they were mentioned the old SD Gundam games and the newest SD Gundam Generations for the PS Vita and Switch
