Missing my hometown Darjeeling where I spent my best Childhood Days. Now feeling nostalgic living far away . Every time I returned to Darjeeling , The cold glass of water I drank in Kurseong reminded me that I was about to reach home.
The existence of our omnipotent and Sovereign Unique creator Allah Ta-aala can convincingly be introspected when we travel through the beautiful creation of the nature by glancing gratefully at it . The righteous and virtuous souls shall be blessed and privileged to view Him in the eternal peaceful paradise hereafter . Alhamdulillah, Allahu Akbar Kabeera. Om Shanti.
Great footage, I envy you. As a child ( 55 years ago) we spent summer hollidays in Daarjeliing, escaping the heats of Munbai (for me Bombay). I dont remember the train so we must of gon by car. I´ll never forget the morning mist and chill of Daarjeling. Thanks for the remembrance!
To me it brings memories of May 1970 alive. We were on an Advanced Leadership Course camp at Chandmari Ground, Kurseong. Can never forget a Gorkha family which was kind enough to shelter two of us as we were freezing due to the climate, gave us piping hot tea and escorted us to the camp. There was a tea estate, AIR relay station..... Went to see Lebong race course, Tiger Hills.... Memories even now so clear, as also that family in Kurseong.
Amazing, at times looked like the train was going to knock the dwellings down on its path and other times felt like it was going on a road making other vehicles stop and give way.
