    I’ve played S & T for about 4 months now. You r so right about if I get my tilt off I’m totally off. I’ve played the best golf of my life with no back pain. I almost gave up the game due to back pain. I’m playing tomorrow with two professionals, can’t wait to see how I do.

    Great Video Jess. Staying centered really helps me make solid contact. I was moving my weight to the right and my swing was bottoming behind the ball

    Jess, is your right hip turning back at the same time your starting your left shoulder tilt and turn.

    I really liked the golf methods that I have seen on your channel[new watcher]. first one was on stacking and second one
    was this one on tilting. Like your style of teaching, easy to watch and learn. Can't think of any new items for you to teach
    but maybe how not to try and hold lag. I already got great results from this and think it would help others.
    Thank You. Will continue to follow you in the future!

    When I tilt the front shoulder ,( Lefty) and turn, I feel way to much weight shift to the back leg when I straighten it, instead of keeping most of the weight forward. THANK YOU , and thanks for all you do for all us golfers. Much appreciated.

    As a beginner to intermediate S&T golfer, IM learning tilting is extremely important to hitting the ball. If I remember to do this one step I usually will sort of produce a good iron golf shot. How do you FEEL, know that you have tilted enough? Do you tilt the same for all iron swings? Thanks!! Jess, now I'm heading back to view the titling only video.☺

    • @JessFrankGolfAcademyBocaRaton
      @JessFrankGolfAcademyBocaRaton  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Great questions Dave! You are usually not tilting enough but you are replacing the forward bend with the side bend or tilt!

    Hi Jess, lately I have been concerned with the center of my weight over the ball determining the bottom of the arc of the swing. I have been hitting the ball then the ground. The divot should take place towards the second half of the ball. Just beyond where the ball sits on the ground. Tilting my head to the left I agree with but not to lose vision of the ball with both eyes. Young pros don’t emphasize swing form. They mislead by focusing on the excitement of how far they can hit. Trying to hit the ball is a sign of a lack of confidence in swing form.

    Great video Jess! Found you after watch that great video with Eric. The Ear to Shoulder was very brilliant to ensure a proper head position.
    Question: would this apply the same to hybrids or fairway woods where there is more of a sweeping action or little to no descent angle of the swing? Watching other videos most presenters only show hitting the 7 or 8 iron so I like to see club variety, especially longer irons, where most folks can struggle.

    • @JessFrankGolfAcademyBocaRaton

      Stack and tilt is a system for teaching golf based on a 3 dimensional description of the swing. Yes I highly recommend it!

    This s& t looks great but what about all us golfers with bad knees especially the left. My left knee does not bend like that?

    • @JessFrankGolfAcademyBocaRaton
      @JessFrankGolfAcademyBocaRaton  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Great question Tim! What’s wrong with your left knee? You can turn your toes out/foot flare and your knee shouldn’t move out of the normal range and plane of a bodies motion.

    I filmed myself on my iPhone from behind looking into this beautiful massive par 4 about 478 yards where you had to make the drive through two Oak trees
    🌳 🌉 🌳 🌊 🌊 🌊 🌊 🌊 🌳 🌳
    So you had to make over the water river stream running across the fairway but going down on a angle to this ditch type stream then up again about half way from Tee to hole ⛳️ Hole 2 Trent park in North London
    I only had my three wood on my half set bag of clubs , only about room for 6 clubs including putter
    I teed off filming myself the ball went sort of straight but slice type fad over to my right.hand side towards the right hand tree splitting the fairway then it took a crazy even more slice right hand turn towards the end of its journey … down towards the crossing bridge area down into the steam 😄🤣
    I thought man that’s chopping wood 🪵 😂 when I watched myself back I was chopping down on the ball that’s why it took that crazy right hand turn at the end , so to not come from such a steep angle 📐 I must tilt better and drag club down to come from a more shallow angle 📐 at the beginning of down swing . Need to get my swing path right and this should be the answer , Iv got to take more notes will watch this again tomorrow, well done Jess great videos I enjoy watching them 😊

    you hit the ball at the salad???(subtitles) As for me I eat it with a vinegrette sauce !!!
    Sorry English is not my mother tongue. Could you explain ?
    Back to the Golf Swing. I feel like in the downswing I try to send my hands too far away from my thighs as if I was trying to get the ball with my hands.
    So poor contact, not enough distance etc... Would you give me an exercice to get my hands closer to my thighs when I play with my 6 or 7 iron ?
    Thank you to help me.
