Sorry for your bad experience with VC - they are terrible! I recently spoke up on TH-cam about my experiences with them aswell (which were even worse than yours). Knowing everything I know now, I could NEVER trust them again!

After my bad experience, i never dealt with them again because as u said now camilia after that who knows? , maybe the whole item and then say we never received it altho u have a proof but it will be a whole mess that is hard to prove because u don’t know who touched your parcel and who to blame!! And they’re definitely aware of that😢
The worst part is that they have security cameras but they’re located to their “expert” advantage, hence, if someone is good at stealing, no one can prove that they took anything even WITH security cameras… Extremely shady practices!!!

Sorry this happened to you, it’s very stressful. We have a large problem here with Rebag. They’re stealing the actual items. Even with videos they won’t accept responsibility. That company is going downhill fast.

I can guarantee you're talking about vestieaire collective. This happened to me as a buyer but with a mulberry lily. Someone literally stole the horseshoe charm off of the cloche and it was in the pictures and the seller swore she never took it off. Vestiere did nothing to resolve the issue. Another time, it was a dustbag, and another time, a receipt. There is a theif working there and they aren't doing anything about it.
Unbelievable… But as horrible as it may sound - I am not surprised 💀 The customer service is ignorant and likely delusional. I’m so sorry you had to go through this multiple times, they shouldn’t be able to get away with it 😩
Terrible 1st experience of VC sold a Balmain bag posted same day Authentication service accused me of buying it in an outlet or private sale and cancelled the order !! Tried to contact customer service daily for 1.5 weeks to explain their mistake they even have the receipt from a UK department store!!! I would never lie !! Completely ignored VC now posting bag to me I declined an offer on another platform as it sold on VC so now I am back to square one Such a waste of time If I relist the bag on VC will they do it again 🤷🏻♀️
Same happened to me on Vestiaire, they messed up, missed the receipt of the bag and it took them two days to find it. I went nuts, I told them twenty times where to find it, no feedback. They never apologized or anything, just approved the quality check two days later.

VC is the worst!! I have had so many issues! Once I got a quality report that said my item (loewe puzzle) was bought in a private sale - which was wrong but I had to go through such a hassle to prove it. They also stated that one of my other bags had different measurements than what I had mentioned on the listing whereas I had written the same exact measurements as on the official website…. A real nightmare
The buyers commissions are crazy - just a cheap marketing excuse to increase their commissions 💀 I guess they were ashamed to increase the percentage for the millionth time

Hi Laine, I sell my items on secondary market as well from time to time. I think you may be able to privately stream your video and if needed, then all you have to to is send the company a link. Further, I would follow up your experience in writing in detail to any higher ups in the company.
I have sold a jean paul gaultier watch on 10 march and sent it on 11 march. Vestiaire received it on 15 march but it’s now 21 march and im still waiting for payment. Ive sent them 500+ messages and emails across all platforms yet only receive automated replies. I have asked to speak to a manager but NEVER got a call at all. I’m still out of pocket now!! Has anything like this happened to anyone pls?? What do i do? I have contacted citizens advise on this who advised me to send an official complaint letter to vestiaire which i have already done. Im considering legal actions now.
That is so annoying to have happened! I'm sorry, I can only imagine how frustrating it is to deal with. I sell from my closet on Poshmark and even with them I record literally E V E R Y T H I N G from packing to shipping because I don't want anyone to try me LOL it's so sad that we can't inherently trust buyers or even companies with these things, but unfortunately that's the world we live in. I'm glad though that both buyers accepted the items in the end. I wanted to ask--in Spain or even in the EU in general, is there something like the Better Business Bureau (BBB) where you can file formal complaints about businesses? That might be something to look into should this happen again (fingers crossed that it doesn't though!). Also...tell us who LOL 😏

Sorry for you, how annoying! Perhaps a complaint to the police about fraud would help. However, you will then certainly be banned by VC. I must confess that I have never had any trouble with VC. However, I have decided not to deal with them anymore after all the recent horror stories on YT. They are definitely taking advantage of their monopolistic position. Then the whole robot customer service settings are another no go for me.

Seller Commissions are huge, they now introduced a buyer fees .. customer service just close to non existent, talking from my personal experience.

It‘s really strange. In my case the buyer cancelled the purchase and the item was listed on my profile again and got sold without dustbag.

I refrain from buying second hand stuff and selling my things now. It's just not worth it. Just buy new, keep, use, that's it
