This has been filmed at "Dyreparken", a zoo in Kristiansand in southern Norway. I guess they did all of these episodes in one day, and then returned to Oslo.
As a Norwegian who has known and loved them for many years, I completely understand why so many new foreign fans fall in love with them "so quickly" ;)
Thanks! It means a lot! It´s really a team effort, so I won´t take all of the credit, I just do a part of it. Without the Ylvisbookies my translations would be rubbish. But it´s great fun. Everybody should try translate and make subtitles from some of the languages they speak (even if you don´t even upload it), you learn a lot. There are probably a lot of "hidden treasures" in all kinds of languages, which more people could enjoy if those who speak that language would translate it to English.
Oooooh... I wondered what the 'Chess' reference was... and it did seem a little surprising that all the episodes seem to have been filmed on the same day. I figured that was the only day they could access the space, in a zoo or wherever it is... very interesting, and thanks for that. I wonder if anyone was getting crankier as the day went on, filming so many episodes at once... :)
Totally agreed. You guys and Emma Martine are my only youtube subscriptions. And agreed about languages! I can do a little of this and that, just due to interest over the years, but I am not good enough in any but English to do transcriptions. Ylvis are more facile with languages than I, but I think they might relate to the general concept...
Yeah, he did... This is the whole episode, as far as I know. These "Hvem vil ha denne" isn´t a part of the TV-show. It´s a campaign from a cell phone company called Chess.
snicker... but he did take his lumps for the book-eating! I'm dying to see the whole episode to see what he had to say for himself when he came out of his defensive crunch. :)
Yup, I'm from Colombia, and I've been like two weeks watching their videos and they are pure love, dammit...

btw, Quirentia, thanks so much for all the awesome subtitles!!!
Maybe "Bård the Bookeater" shouldn´t be the one suggesting that other people should be sent to the naughty corner for misbehaving...

They balance each other out very well. :)
I couldn't choose. I like them together. It's like a meal that is both spicy and sweet.

Well put! I agree.
Vegard is a sweetheart!! :))
Did anyone notice that the plant into the Vegard's eye at 2:07?
Hahah poor..
I just noticed how funny Vegard's reaction is at 2:08 :D
I have always (since they started) loved Vegard the most. ;)

:)
Can anyone tell me what this part of the show is about? :D
me too. :)
Totally agree :) Sorry if my comment sounded kind of "mean".
0:35, the monkey scratches itself and a second after it Calle scratches his head :DDD
0:46 Mission accomplished
Magnus getting disowned ;_;
Magnus should have gotten that... hook, or bar, or whatever it was... it was rightfully his!
Tho I must admit that Vegard scores more stuff by being nice than Bård does by being bossy... heh heh heh...
