@@DeadmanRides When this song came out, the radio played this nonstop to the point I hated it. Metallica put their own spin on it and made it one of my favorites by them.
Duuuude!! Metallica was formed in the year I was born - 1980 - I'm 40 years old! What's funny is that they were formed in San Francisco and that's also where I was born 😆 That's the absolute truth, I swear 🤘 This song was released in 1998. My favorite song by Metallica is "Disposable Heroes".
This song is from Garage, Inc Album. was released on 24th November 1998 through Elektra Records. Over 2.5 million copies have been sold in the US as certified by the RIAA. It includes cover songs, B-side covers, and the The $5.98 E.P.: Garage Days Re-Revisited, which had gone out of print since its original release in 1987. The title is a combination of Garage Days Re-Revisited and their song "Damage, Inc." The album features songs by artists that have influenced Metallica, including many bands from the New Wave of British Heavy Metal movement.
You're going to shit a brick when you see the crowd at monsters of rock. I've actually been watching millenials reacting to that all week. Check out 'Enter Sandman live in Moscow 1991' it will blow your mind.
Thanks for good reaction video. Nice to see how you liked and got bit surprised about Metallica. Their music has a lot of variety tbh, from fast heavy trash metal to slow ballads. Many of the songs have deep lyrics and telling story, and have skillful transitions. Would be nice to hear more reactions from you as fresh listener, so here are few recommendations, offering different sides of their music: - Fade to Black. Classic, one of their best early pieces. Very beutiful, sad and heavy. - One. Classic reaction song in youtube. Also has good changes and transitions of different types of feelings, and tells very tragic story. There's version with music video (without lyrics though), so you might went to check it, and have lyrics somewhere nearby. - Master of Puppets. If you want to go and check some more fast and heavy stuff, this one is concidered one of the legendary piece of the genre. Fast and electric, with deep message in lyrics too. - Creeping Death, especially the Live Moscow 1991 version. Excellent heavy song, and the concert is legendary with 1,6M people in the audience. If you want to see how the band performs live, their exceptional energy, this one is worth to see. - The Day That Never Comes. Example of their more recent, 2nd latest album, song. Many people think that new Metallica isn't that great, but songs like these are good example of their song writing skills. Some live version is good choice. - Unforgiven. Actually it's a trilogy, you can find I, II and III. They share some similarities, but have bit different perspectvie on lyrics. Beautiful emotional songs.
Here’s what’s crazy. You look at the cover alone it tells the story of them. They are always traveling on the road. But then the music video.. tells a whole story by it self.. so you can take it how you want to take it if you get a different vibe from the music video.. it’s crazy how many meanings how it tells a story. Hearing it, seeing a music video, maybe you heard this song when you were going through a tough time and it gives you another perspective. Music is insane!
This version is way better than original !! Well I like this one better...No offense to the great Bob Segar cause his version is the original and he’s really good !!
This one is a cover. It's great, I love it but to get the full experience you need to listen to an original. My favorite is Sad but True, it's an older an song. Enter Sandman is great as well. Great reaction 💗
This is a cover of a Bob seger song I prefer the original even though they did a good job. Fun fact - In 1991 the did a free concert in Russia after the Berlin wall fell. There were 1.6 million people at that concert.
I’ve seen them live twice now. Sadly I didn’t get to see them in their fan prime day like my dad use to. But they are a band that’s even better with a live performance. If you ever have a chance to see them definitely take it
I remember when this song first released alongside the video. Lets just say the video was rather explicit. This one here is very mild. Not sure if the original video is out there still? In any case, they used to play the uncensored video in TV back in a day... how times have changed.
This is actually from an album they released that is all covers of songs. This song is from Bob Seger. If you go back to their early albums...super heavy metal like you were thinking. They mellowed out for a bit and then had some really bad albums overall. Their newest album "HardWired" is as close as I've heard to them getting back to their original sound while having good songs on the album as well. Decent choice randomly picking a song for your first Metallica song, but not a great representation of the band. Go with Master of Puppets on the next one !
So, you should probably do one of their original songs, this is an old bob seager song. You want a good taste of Metallica.. I recommend pretty much any thing on master of puppets or ...and justice for all
One of my Metallica favourites, although this is a Bob Seger cover. Check out A perfect Circle - Judith. React to that and then get the story behind it. Crazy good song.
This represents her perspective of the song .. instead of his as a rock star .. this is her story .. she’s on the road stripping etc to try to provide for her kid .. she doesn’t realize that it’s affecting her kid tho ..
This isn’t a real representation of what Metallica is as it is a cover. However they have different sound during the ‘90s. Their best sound is heavy. It’s a actually caller thrash metal, but you might not like it if you don’t like heavy. Still give it a go try Master of Puppets or Disposable Heroes.
The reason why you heard no metal sounds from the band is because the song, Turn The Page, it is a cover song, and it ain't heavy. More like country style. You should listen to their album Master of Puppets instead😏
Song is a cover originally performed by Bob Seger and the Silver Bullet Band. The video is arbitrary and has nothing to do with the song. Song is about the on the road life of a rock band not a stripper
@@kuplung22 yes, and their version is better then others. But my fav of their cover songs are turn the page and Astronomy. and for their own song, you can pick from jump into the fire, to frantic, to low man's lyric
I think it would be awesome if you did one or two days a week that were new music for you not rap other genres. And I suggest I'm not a vampire revamped by falling in reverse its a masterpiece 😁😁😁❤
Great choice but I'd do the original first for context. I'd actually do "The drug in me is you" and "the drug in me is reimagined" so they all 4 tie in together. Should also do the trilogy
Metallica One. Also they are as good or better live. Watch Master of Puppets live Seattle 89 or 1.6 million Russians getting their face melted with Creeping Death live Moscow.
I’m not sure having you react to a cover is the best place to start with a band. Maybe if you know the original well it would help you evaluate their abilities but more than likely you would be biased towards the original. Try Master of puppets or Enter sandman.
"Dudes voice is crazy bro" = a white male sounds masculine and not speaking with an ebonic slang connotation like todays young white men that have been provided for by a female and raised by video games
To me this is a great cover. I like it much better than the original.
Me to brother

Insane. This is greatness, but the original destroys it.
@MrCBTman not even close!
Three words.
Fade to black
Thank us later, after the wormhole youre about to get in to..
To me this is one of the best metallica songs that metallica didn't wrote. It May be a cover but they made it completely their own.
Bro the vocal flourish he does when he says before gives me chills every time 1:15
Metallica❤❤❤❤❤
Ginger Lynn!
Metallica is prolly my fav band of all time🤘😎🤘
Metallica GOAT!
I remember watching this clip fort the first time as a teen girl I bawled my eyes out
Metallica - Master of puppets live in Seattle 1989. Thats the real Metallica.(Turn the Page is cover btw)
Dude Metallica is the greatest lol. Hell yeah glad this was my first reaction video of yours!

Shows the quality of Metallica that they can win you over with a cover that isn't even a big hit for them. Im new to this channel. Hi btw lol
That video is a reality.
Metallica is Heavy metal.. or it was in the beginning. They have evolved a lot. Still metal, but vibes of rock. They’ve been around Forever
Cover version or not I absolutely love this song.

"Enter Sandman" is a classic and probably in the top 20 of best songs ever. You should watch the live Moscow video of it, it's mind blowing!

Subscribed🔥Metallica are the masters of telling a story. There instrumentals are the proof. No lyrics but a story nonetheless
