- On March 16 2024, the Ooni of Ife took everyone by surprise, revealing that he and his beautiful third wife, Queen Tobiloba Philips-Ogunwusi, have welcomed a set of twins. The delighted Oba of Ile-Ife also said both mother and babies are doing well, which got many of their fans celebrating and jubilating in excitement.
It's no secret that the Ooni of Ife and Olori Tobiloba have come a long way since they tied the nuptial knot in October 2022. At the time, there were rumours that Olori Ashley, the self-styled Alpha Female in Ife Palace, ran former Olori Naomi Silekunola off the palace. More so, there were talks that the UK-based black beauty had the heart of the Ooni on her palms and was the only woman he truly yearned for. In no time, this hearsay got people speculating that Olori Tobi would not last a year in the Ife Palace despite how beautiful and talented she is.
Surprisingly, the third wife stepped up her PDA games in the other room and became the first of the six wives the Ooni married consecutively to give him children. In the process, the Queen, mother of twins, appears to be securing her place in the palace and working to become the King's favourite wife.
