These aren't the only people in this situation. Years ago, I saw a set of identical twins who married another set of identical twins, on the Montel Williams show. But they didn't live together in the same house. Instead, they lived in two different houses next door to each other and joined their yards. But they were pretty much doing the same thing as this family. I think they also met at the Twinsburg fest too.

@AJJesko My family is like this. Across multiple generations. My great uncles and aunts all bought houses on the same road/road behind it as my great grandparents. They raised their families there who grew up to raise their families there (my generation) who are now adults raising their families there. I'm closer to my second cousins than most people are to their 1st cousins, and I know 3rd and 4th cousins personally. My first cousin once removed (my dad's first cousin) and I even lived together as roommates in our 20s before marrying others. The number of people who thought we were dating when we'd go out to dinner etc. was hilarious.
We are American but of Eastern European descent and living with multiple generations and close by is normal for us though I understand not for others. Actually my great grandparents were an arranged marriage: their families lived in houses who's backyards touched (nearby where the family lives now) so my 2 great great grandmothers got together and said we should unite our families, this daughter and this son should marry. They told their children, but my great grandmother asked if she could marry the slightly older brother of the man picked out for her instead because he had a better job. My great great grandmothers agreed that was fine and that is how my great grandparents began their very long and loving marriage. As a married couple, they lived as 1 family between their family's adjoining houses for years, raising their children among cousins like siblings. And that is what started our gigantic family that is still emotionally close and mostly lives close 100 years later. We think we might hold a record for the number of family members that have graduated from the local high school 😂

for me what it's weird it's the lack of desire of having a self identity or self expression and that it's too mixed up to another person. And also the lack of intimacy, how living all together marital problems of both couples will probably be talked by the four of them. I know they are happy and great for them, but I feel that's going to mess with the kids head when they want to date as adults.

It’s probably more of an environmental factor in their childhood. Daughters are normally raised into liking to dress up, thanks to their parents. So considering daughters are the child chosen for feminine hobbies, female twins have more desire to dress up as well, especially when their parents might match their outfits more frequently than male twins. The answer is mostly the cause of social construct.

I feel weird about this. I just wonder what sort of identity and bond the children will form with each parent. Our parents faces are so instrumental in our bond building. I wonder how this will effect them later in life or effect their relationships with their parents and aunt and uncle. It really is truly bizarre having another set of both your mom and dad. Usually children of identical twins only have one aunt or uncle that looks like the parent. They have a perfect copy of BOTH parents.

The only thing that weirds me out is the matching clothes......like, do you not have your own unique styles? Where's the individuality. The living situation and raising kids together is totally fine, makes sense, humans are great at communal living like that......but the matching outfits everyday speaks to a neurological desperation for control that seems ...off. I hope the kids have a chance to choose what they want to wear as they get older... 😬

I couldn't watch more than 15 seconds. I'm a twin, and this is like my worst nightmare getting played out on screen. Nope, can't do it. Cause this is what everyone gets a chuckle out of imagining at your expense (as a twin). It reinforces weird myths about twins and how they relate to each other. NOOOO thank you.

Hi, I was wondering, if I can share with you the most important news ever.God the father, sent down His Holy Son Jesus(Y'shua) to earth, to be born of a virgin. He grew up and died for us to wash our sins away on the cross.Father God raised Jesus to life, He appeared to people and went back to heaven. We must sincerely receive Holy Jesus as our Savior to be saved(Eph 2:8-9 and John 1:12) putting genuine faith in Christ. Will you put your true faith in Christ today and receive Him
