i think people need to remember that our perception of "normal" is not the same for everyone. many twins/multiples grow up basically doing everything together and might feel weird or uncomfortable being separated. this is probably their "normal" and there's nothing wrong with that! seems like a happy family
I think dressing up the same is a gig. The twin thing seams they indentity, and they 'force' the twinning on their kids, who are cousins. So that for me not look healthy.
My cousins (kids of uncle 1) don't quite share a house, but they all live right next to each other, grandparents also live right next to them. They kinda own half the street, each cousin and grandparents gets one house. From my other cousins (kids of uncle 2) one lives right next to their parents, the other right next to their parent in law. Seems pretty nice, makes childcare a lot easier.
@AJJesko My family is like this. Across multiple generations. My great uncles and aunts all bought houses on the same road/road behind it as my great grandparents. They raised their families there who grew up to raise their families there (my generation) who are now adults raising their families there. I'm closer to my second cousins than most people are to their 1st cousins, and I know 3rd and 4th cousins personally. My first cousin once removed (my dad's first cousin) and I even lived together as roommates in our 20s before marrying others. The number of people who thought we were dating when we'd go out to dinner etc. was hilarious. We are American but of Eastern European descent and living with multiple generations and close by is normal for us though I understand not for others. Actually my great grandparents were an arranged marriage: their families lived in houses who's backyards touched (nearby where the family lives now) so my 2 great great grandmothers got together and said we should unite our families, this daughter and this son should marry. They told their children, but my great grandmother asked if she could marry the slightly older brother of the man picked out for her instead because he had a better job. My great great grandmothers agreed that was fine and that is how my great grandparents began their very long and loving marriage. As a married couple, they lived as 1 family between their family's adjoining houses for years, raising their children among cousins like siblings. And that is what started our gigantic family that is still emotionally close and mostly lives close 100 years later. We think we might hold a record for the number of family members that have graduated from the local high school 😂
These aren't the only people in this situation. Years ago, I saw a set of identical twins who married another set of identical twins, on the Montel Williams show. But they didn't live together in the same house. Instead, they lived in two different houses next door to each other and joined their yards. But they were pretty much doing the same thing as this family. I think they also met at the Twinsburg fest too.

If more siblings were close like this and had this type of family dynamic, they could afford more. Unfortunately conflict and more problems would arise from such a set up with siblings living together.
I know these couples, they are some of the nicest people you will ever meet! How lucky the boys are to grow up together. Best buds for life. Being a twin you’ll always have that extra support for life’s challenges. How awesome it is.

My bedroom is not right next door to my sister and husband, we don't have sex at the same time, so we can get pregnant together, we don't work at the exact same place, eat the exact same foods, dress our kids like they are twins, get married at the same time and wear the same wedding dress, dress alike daily...it's WEIRD.
for me what it's weird it's the lack of desire of having a self identity or self expression and that it's too mixed up to another person. And also the lack of intimacy, how living all together marital problems of both couples will probably be talked by the four of them. I know they are happy and great for them, but I feel that's going to mess with the kids head when they want to date as adults.
They did say they have separate sibling time, separate spouse time and individual time. I also don't think you can get more "He's basically my brother" than a quartenary twin.
I have a feeling they are incredibly happy. twins like to be together most of the time anyway and then this way they don't have to explain that or live away from their twin.. so it's a win win for everyone. probably more happy than most families

It’s probably more of an environmental factor in their childhood. Daughters are normally raised into liking to dress up, thanks to their parents. So considering daughters are the child chosen for feminine hobbies, female twins have more desire to dress up as well, especially when their parents might match their outfits more frequently than male twins. The answer is mostly the cause of social construct.

I disagree, genes can vary slightly in how they are expressed, and lifestyle and environment can also influence how you look. I can always tell identical twins apart because of this.
They’re actually identical not fraternal. There are lots of articles about this family online and these confirm they’re identical. Also they mention the little boys are genetically brothers, meaning both sets of parents must be identical twins.
