Father and son playing not only in the same league at the same time, but on the same team is rare. Extremely rare. The only other occurrence I know of is in the NHL, when Gordie and Mark Howe played together for the Hartford Whalers in the 1979-80 NHL season, and a 52 year old Gordie Howe was named to the NHL All Star team for his conference (then Whales Conference, now Eastern Conference).

The ball came out before he stepped out. Also if you're forced out of bounds by a defender you are allowed to come back in bounds.

Shouldn’t the first play have been illegal touching? The player who fumbled went out of bounds and then came back in and grabbed the ball. That should have blown the play dead or have been a penalty, either way the whistle should have blown and ended it there instead of the added shenanigans that ensued afterwards.

No, it wouldn't be an out because it hit the wall. I'm assuming they'll give the hitter a double, count it same as ground rule home run.

The wall is considered part of the in-play field unless the ball bounces off the top of the wall and out for a home run. Umpires/refs too, like if a football pass hits a referee, it is counted as an incomplete pass even if it bounces up and is caught.
Happens all the time in the ivy at Wrigley field. As long as the player just stands there it'll be a ground rule double. If he tries to make a play on it the play keeps going. He stopped and just looked at it so the umpire probably called it a dead ball.

I think that's the case to make a catch. In this case he already caught it and is now recovering a fumble so the ball has already been touched
