I went to Bobby Nelson's this past weekend the people and store are just like the video. Mars was a great store too but Bobby Nelson's has that old time charm that can't be found hardly anywhere.

Thank you so much for posting this video. I have told my friends all about Bobby Nelson's cheese shop for years and now I can show them! I sure wish they had an on line presence so it would be easier to order from them. You should have asked them about their other cheeses, too!

Ive ended up there on a cruise i took with my old truck one day perks of living in Wisconsin is every town has a mom an pop meat an cheese store bring back lots of memories hearing people talk like that again

The sign in the store says it mails everywhere how do you get in touch with them to get cheese and sausages on order and mailed to you do they have a website?
NO ONE goes to Bobby Nelson's without taking pictures of the cartoons on the north and south walls and the wrestlers on the east. If you ever watched a professional wrestler use a full Nelson or half Nelson, they were named after Bobby Nelson. Tim and Tom's, a couple miles north, is great, too, but Mars Cheese Castle should be visited for the tchotchkes, not the cheese or sandwiches.
I’ll take the mom and pop shop anytime over mars , mars is too commercialized and expensive at least bobby Nelson has a nice selection and are still in business even with mars adding additions to there building every other year.

Someone took a bulldozer to this place when these folks retired and sold the property. It's just sad to see now.
