Hi, love your videos...brings back memories as I used to be a chalk board artist for local shops and pubs. Could you do a video on carry cases / tool boxes and what you carry in yours please.
Sorry to be late to the party, but I´ve only just discovered you and I am working through your oeuvre. But to the point, Wikipedia says, ´The name "rollmops" is German in origin, derived from the words rollen (to roll) and Mops meaning pug or fat young boy. The form Rollmops is singular, and the plural is Rollmöpse.´ I love them, too. Thank you for all your fascinating content. It´s a treasure.
Really love your garden . Hmm midwinter here and it is 13C and raining. Google says Roll is to roll and Mops is fat young boy, hmm. Heh great to get a mention. G’day to the rest of the gang.
Your garden looks great, John! And your lunch is intriguing, I never had herring in vinegar and onions. Does it taste fishy? Thanks for mentioning Sisyphus, by the way, I live in San Diego, Las Vegas would be a lot warmer. I'm looking forward to more videos. Ted
Thanks Ted. Actually I checked out the geography of San Diego recently because my son and family took a break here last month. Sorry about that. As for herring tasting fishy .. er .. yes! In fact the marinade is a sweet vinegar so overall its delicious.
Good to see you back in the shop, John. You inspired me to become a chalkboard artist & signwriter. Thank you!!!!
You’re very easy to watch and listen to! Great work too.
Good to have the memories as at the moment a lot of the country is in lockdown.
Thanks John, some fab tips there.

Thanks Paul. Hope it doesn't make you too nostalgic for the homeland.
