  • Doing some additional follow up video to the HereLink radio system working with the Pixhawk 2.1 / Cube flight controller. Once again, the HereLink is a R/C controller, tablet, data link, video link, and HD monitor all in one. It is the interface a pilot will have when using a Pixhawk 2.1/Cube flight controller.
    With Watts Innovations, we supply customers with ready to fly aircraft that are specifically suited for their needs. We are getting many requests for a simple package that utilizes the Pixhawk 2.1/Cube flight controller and with the new release of the HereLink radio, I am quite pleased with the package we can now offer our customers.
    In this video I do some various tests including a longer real-world worst case scenario range test, autonomous mission and return to home landing. Additionally I go into some detail about the pros and cons of using this system. Just to reiterate, we are just testing with dummy weights.... this aircraft is designed to carry cinema gimbals, survey grade LiDAR systems, and more. Vlog shot with a GoPro HERO 7.

    Why do you say "this aircraft can carry LIDAR systems & more " This is a remote controller with a receiver fixed on the drone . Am I correct

    Nice Bobby, its great you listen to what people want, that how we all move forward in a happy way. Amazing stuff. I suggest testing range in the city as well. There are all kinds of signals there that cramp range. City shoots suck haha.

    Hi Bobby,
    Are you using throttle center zero enabled? And what MOT_SPIN_ARM value did you use? Thanks!

    Amazing content and nice explanation sir. As you mentioned autonomous missions, Have you used any separate telemetry or Here link can provide autonomous function by itself
    Thanks in advance sir

      It is SBus so I believe it is 14 channels and 2 digital, but you would have to double check

    Did you hear mag anomaly? 🤪

    • @BobbyWatts
      @BobbyWatts  5 ปีที่แล้ว

      It was due to the Here2 changing protocols to the CAN system and mis-prioritizing the compasses. Switched it back to I2C connection and it is running great.
