The Ace Pro's stabilization was better chin mounted. Still going to wait at least an iteration before purchasing one. They are headed in the right direction. Maybe GoPro will come out with a model that has a bigger lens. As for the fender issue, I'm a bit confused as to what is really happening. You did show after the bike is mounted and it is moving forward that the bike swings down and this is probably what is causing the issue. Lee and Sharon posted their day at WPB and tested the new system. They basically say no issues. Then you show one of the kids with a broken fender and how it happened. I'm guessing the kids bike was a small and this can happen to bikes on the smaller end of the allowable scale. Will wait to hear more, or at least with video proof, fenders being damaged before having a better opinion on the situation. Thanks for posting.
A couple observations on the Ace. It was WAY better but I also only rode flow trails with zero rock gardens or compressions but it handled everything amazing. The chin mount/head gimbal def helped, the only issue, since I don't have their low profile mount, is the standard mount puts the camera quite a bit lower than a GoPro and I had to watch it didn't hit my chest. Extra weight was fine. I am also curious to see if I can actually get the bars in the shot without the top angle being too low. I'll sort that today. I am also noticing that I don't think I need to run negative EV like a GoPro as the footage out of the camera was quite dark and I needed to lighten in post. A big improvement though, wow. I'll try a couple things over the next couple days and we will really see how it does. The fenders, ahhh the fenders. lol Here is what I think, if you have a harder plastic closer to the tire fender when it swings it literally smashes into the hanger support, if it is too hard of plastic or brittle it snaps them at the fork leg where they attach, especially the factory Fox and RS ones. It seemed that thinner, like Marsh Guards, just conformed and were fine though I do not know for sure. It might take a few repeated hits to fatigue them but like you said, I do not know for sure.
Hey Natalie, thanks for taking the time to comment. Which shredder was yours? While I would love to add them, the video is already edited, up and posted. I am guessing it would probably have been fine, especially after your message, but what I think is fine might not be with someone else and being a parent myself I did not want to cross any lines. Especially with a social format that leads to direct contact with the kids. I actually had second thoughts about even posting the video. I would love to ride with them again and if they want, and everyone is cool with it, we can redo the Insta intros. Maybe an intro, then film a run of their pick with each kid? They can add them in the comments of this video if they want and I can pin the comments to the top. Thanks again, I loved riding with them, it was so fun and they seem like a great group, not to mention they absolutely shred!!! Feel free to reach out if they want to film a run, I'd love it. Todd
Ya, you could hear my surprise in the vid. It is a big swooping berm now. It was always a tough corner, maybe they thought it was too tough for a blue. If the rocks are under there I am sure they will pop up in time. lol
@@Jeremy_MTB cool. I hit my elbow so hard it has me rethinking why I think I am so tough I don't need to wear elbow pads? Really, I should be in bubble wrap lol
I am not sure on the RS. All of the broken ones I have seen have been the Fox bolt on that break at the tabs that attach to the fork legs. If I see or hear anything else I will let you know. Thanks for the comment.
Sick video! Love watching it! Keep it up buddy!
Hey Abner, thanks man, I appreciate the comment!
Dang those kids were shredding!😂. Love to see the bike park in great shape.
Ya, they were ripping. What's open is in amazing shape.
Beautiful video. Thanks for sharing. 👍74
Hey Khurshids Channel, thank for the comment!!!
Awesome. 😎 🤩 👏.
Thanks Leo!!
Good job keeping up with the mini shredders grandpa! lol
Barely!!! lol
Was There Was AWESOME 😎 With My CF Demo8
YES!!! 👊👊
Awesome. Trails look in good condition.
The trails that are open are mint. Still quite a bit closed though. Hoping that it is because they are buffing them!!!

Oh, and you can always take the Gondi with a fender. I keep forgetting to mention that.
I’m one of the parents - I think all the kids would love the instagram tags please

I’m glad they brought back the GLC step up. The line last year was crap!
Totally. So much better. Thanks for the comment.👊
Happy Whistmas!!
Hey Thomas!!! Thanks buddy. Absolutely pouring out at the moment so we will see if we get up there today, but yes, so stoked it's Whismas!! .
Seems we need to change the hard bolt on fenders with the soft zip tie ones
You might be right. I think a little compliance goes a long way
Oh wow they redid the difficult (for a blue) corner on Asian express

1:01 I had the exact same crash on the same day 😂😂😂
Just riding along giggling. 🤣 I hope you are ok?
@@RidingThruLife don't worry I just scraped my knee a little bit 💪

@@RidingThruLife yea its funny how we say that elbow pads are for wimps and then we complain that our elbows are hurting 😅
I can’t weight to have my lowers slam into that “rubber piece” on the rack!
Ya, it's already rubbed off my fork ID tag. Not a big deal but.......................
Will a oem fender of a 29 boxxer clear it? How about a fox 49 bolt on? thanks.

and the fender is broken.
AAANNNNDDDDD the fender broke. lol 🤣 Yep. I wonder how many actually broke on day one. You can take the Gondi if you have a fender though.
