I could you watch you doodle all day long! You have such skill in keeping everything consistent - like your triangles are all the same size, your way of drawing curved lines is so awesome. Even the way you make dots and dashes. They usually are all identical in size…amazing. I wish I had your steady hand and imagination!! Love your work!!

"Thank you so much for your kind words! I’m so glad you enjoy the little details-it’s amazing how something as simple as dots and lines can come together to make a piece feel so balanced. You’ve got such an eye for noticing the subtle things, and I really appreciate that! Thanks again for the lovely compliment, it means a lot!"

Meditative for viewer, for artist. Inspires viewer to go forth and zentangle.

I'm so glad you found the video meditative! That’s exactly the vibe I hope to create-both calming and inspiring. If it sparks some zentangling for you, that’s the best compliment I could ask for! 😊✨ Thanks so much for sharing your thoughts!

Thanks very much for this one. A number of years ago I asked many friends to give me their 4 favorite colors in order to use on future cards/crafting projects to them. I can use those colors to fill in the w-c sections you've divided up, and also use those 4 colors in choosing my doodling pens -- That way I can be more certain they'll find the card attractive when they first see it! Thanks again.

"You're so welcome! What a thoughtful approach to your card-making-using your friends' favorite colors will make each card even more personal and special. I love that you're making sure it’s something they’ll truly enjoy. Happy crafting, and I’m so glad this was helpful!"

I love your videos! I like how each space shows it’s individuality, but becomes part of the whole when it’s finished. TFS

I really like how you did this project. I think it would be fun to utilize this technique in my bookmarks and cards too. Oh, and wouldn’t it be smashing on a pair of canvas tennis shoes! Thanks for sharing!

I am a huge fan! I love to watercolor and doing these doodles is so relaxing. My question is how do you think of patterns? I am often referring to your work to get inspiration. I am hoping that the more I do, the more things will just pop into my head. How long have you been doodling?

    • @JoanneGrant_Art

Thank you so much for your nice comment! My advice is to just get started drawing. Get a sketchbook and have it with you always so you can draw whenever you have a few minutes. For myself, one pattern seems to lead to another. The more I create the more I think of. Sometimes I can't keep up with the ideas. Also, weirdly enough, when I close my eyes I see shapes and patterns emerge behind my eyelids. I know...strange. I can remember drawing/doodling on my notebooks instead of paying attention in class. 😂 But as far back as I can remember, I was always creating something and started my first sketchbook at around 8 years old.

@ Thank you for your encouragement! I will take your advice to heart (and pen!). Please continue making your awesome videos. I know the time and effort it takes and I also know how it feels to get positive feedback in a world where that happens less and less. Kudos once again. 🥰
