I have a 300wm cascade with a hellfire break, the recoil feels like a 6.5cm.

Very nice! Just put one on layaway in the 7 PRC flavor. Can’t wait to get my grubby mitts on that thing!

I would have went 7prc if ammo nd brass were more available. With hand loads there isn't a big difference between the 2 unless your shooting extreme long range so for a hunting rifle I wasn't concerned.

@@Dfleuryoutdoors I agree. I was almost tempted to just buy the 7 REM mag which I could have got for slightly cheaper in store + no shipping or transfer fee either but I figure hey, 7 PRC is kind of the new 7 Rem mag. Not to discredit the Remington, it’s a fine round but I think moving forward the PRC will continue to get more traction and it just makes sense to choose that one. In the process of getting my hand loading bench set up so I hope to eventually load some spicy Barnes Bullets in the PRC!

I am very much looking forward to 7mm bullet tests! I asked Cavity Back Bullets if there is any chance of a .284 option, he said he was working on a 130 and a 160 grain.

Maker actually manufactures the bullets for cavity back. The REX bullets are pretty much the same except no cavity in the back. I think think the cavity definitely helps with smaller capacity cartridges. Well see how the makers do in 7mm.

@@Dfleuryoutdoors 🤯. I had no idea, but it seems so obvious now that I think about it. Looks like I'll keep using CBB for 6.8, and I'll have to get some Makers for my 7mm-08.

I know the cavity is supposed to help with accuracy because it helps with the gasses encapsulating the bullet as is leaves the muzzle. We'll see what kind of accuracy I get with the makers and how they do in gel.

How does the rifle feed in 7mm? I hear they have problems in the PRC’s and I think 350 legend. I was wanting the XT in 7mm, but was going to wait until the sorted out any feeding issues. Does the 7mm have any issues?

I have not had any feeding issues at all with mine.
