Trip to Hillsboro Oregon and back to pick up VW Beetle

Left on June 13th and 9:30am. Flight to Portland was on Allegiant Air from Appleton, Wisconsin at 2:07pm. It was MJ’s first commercial flight. We arrived in Portland at 4:15pm and took a LYFT to Hillsboro, 26 miles away. That ride took an hour and a half. We picked up the Beetle and were on the road around 6pm. Our first stop was Multnomah Falls where we hiked to the top and back. I drove thru the nightly, stopping for 45 minutes 75 miles SW of Spokane. I stopped for another 30 minute nap around 8am in Montana. We drove to Pompey’s Pillar, East of Billings and toured that area. Then I made it to around Casselton, Near Fargo, where I took another 30 minute nap. When I hit Fargo at 1am I finally slept for 4 hours, waking up to the sun shining thru the clouds. From there it was a long drive the rest of the way home. We arrived at 4:25pm, 5 minutes before Michelle got home from work. I quickly washed the bugs off the front and sides so she could take it for a ride. She was very happy. It is a very nice car and rode very well for the 2056 miles home.
