Esto se podría catalogar como una "bomba atómica" de sirenas de diferentes países de origen en un sólo país debido a la diversidad de marcas de camiones que hay en la zona, ya que hay desde American LaFrance hasta Renault's.

    How to turn on a fire buff:
    Step one - This video.
    Step two - Join a volunteer fire department and convince the chief to adopt a federal Q, two-tone horns and a powercall. Maybe an electronically struck brass bell, as well. Stutter tone airhorns go without saying.
    Step three: revel

      Up to the 80's we had a lot of "imported when new" LHD Nissan firetrucks from the early 60's, most of those are restored as historical pieces, because they're really iconic for many fire departments.
      We have some donated JDM firetrucks in service, too, but those aren't common. If you say "japanese firetruck", people will think of the old Nissans.

      Emergencias Bomberos RM Chile I’m from America, the New Jersey New York area specifically. The majority of us in the States and our neighbor Canada have fire departments using Q sirens in their fire trucks. Federal Signal comes from our country, proudly from the USA. The FDNY (New York City) mainly uses EQ2Bs, but some of their trucks have Q2B sirens. They’re very strong and effective. I’m very impressed that your country’s fire trucks uses European-style Hi-Lo sirens and mixed them with the Federal Q sirens. If I were a fire chief of a fire department, I would add them on my fire trucks, and have them use the Q sirens at the same time. That’s if the local council approves it, depending on the local government rules. Anyways, great catch. If you can capture any French-style Hi-lo trucks with Q sirens, let me know. Thanks for the response.

    Is that really a thing in Chile, at 5:35 a unit has 'The British & Commonwealth Fire & Rescue Company'!? What is that all about?
    Then a 'Feuerwehr' German fire unit at 7:17.
    What's with the Union Flags on some of the units. Someone has said because they are a British company, so is the fire service not a national service there, just another company operating in place of a national service or is it alongside a national service?

    • @plopezc
      @plopezc 3 ปีที่แล้ว +4

      Many fire stations all across the country were founded by immigrants or they had foreign support during their years of work, so as a way of honouring their traditions they remain with the liveries of their former countries. For example, here in my city we have an Italian fire station, German, Belgian, French, among others.
