When it comes to home defense, when someone breaks into your home with intent to harm you OR NOT, you should be able to have the utmost advantage when defending your home, thats why my AR-15 has a 60rnd drum mag. And on top of it, in my state at least, we have "the duty to retreat" meaning I can't shoot someone in my OWN HOME until i'm in an unescapable room and the intruder is coming directly at me. So in the meantime of hiding in this room, that person could steal all of my priceless items and all I can do is sit there and call 911 with a fully loaded AR pointing at a doorway. That is unAmerican and does not fall under my definition as "pursuing happiness" xD

Our security guards had concealed fire arms in a gun free zone. Some of these teachers even if they are trained be snapping out of nowhere and can defiantly have depression without telling nobody.

Last year I was in xc practice and we got a level 3 lockdown, it was summer so only sports were there, but we ran to the baseball dugouts and me and my friends were just talking about Fortnite and building 90s so we don't die, it turned out to be a false alarm but that shit was not scary at all even tho we thought it was real, shit was funny tbh

The second amendment was made when guns were one-shot rifles that had to be reloaded for 30 seconds with a lead ball. They did not look ahead and see now guns that hold 75 bullets and are fully automatic. There is a right to own guns but there has to be a restriction on what you can get to protect yourself and your family.
