Happy New Year🎉 Looking good al of you'r baby boom tanks. Hope i see the same in my tanks, but now stretchdown under the bigboy flu😅 Ohw yeah i send you my best shrimps, because you deserve them❤
I do but in some of the tanks its not so noticable, like this morning I just cleaned all the front panels of the glass on the inside and every tank had green build up on the glass, green walls can also come and go if you let the plants grow to much which I am bad for.
@@MarksShrimpTanks Thank you very much, Marc. I love your videos thanks. I learned a lot from you. Been following you for several years. Many thanks for the quick response. You are a correct TH-camr and a correct breeder
Are caridina shrimp seasonal breeders? Ive had my big blue bolts and galaxys for a long time, water perameters are perfect (good gh/ 0 kh, ph 5.5) but no luck with any breeding, its really disheartening 😢! Any advice would be great!
Mine breed all the time, I feed once a week and remove all uneaten food within an hour, I do no water changes and only top up with RO, when i top up I sometimes add a tiny amount of powdered food to promote biofilm, all my tanks have brown leaves in the tanks.
Hey, i have 3 groups of caridina shrimp. Blue bolts, red fancy tigers and crystal reds. i've had them for about a year now and i always see berried shrimp but NEVER babies. I keep them on a ph lowering soil, RO water and i have a green wall of algae. Do you know what im doing wrong?

Hallo wieder sehr Interessantes Video. Gruß Torsten
Is that a planaria floating around in the top right at 1:24?
No I dont think so, its just some type of worm.
Get a large tank for goldfish only. Get fan tail Goldfish and feed them the duckweed. They will chomp on it and grow well.
That is the plan my friend!!
Gazillions Great Word 🙏🌈💚🦐🏴
Hello Marc, thanks for the nice video. Do you have to feed the baby shrimp extra or is that not necessary?
When I top the tanks up one a week I sometimes add a tiny amount of powdered food but thats it.
What is the average lifespan of one of your tanks before a reset?
Before it was maybe 1.5 years now with doing no water changes it lasts double the time.
Hi Mark how are you controlling the nitrates in your tank's when doing no water changes?
Algae growth on the walls
@MarksShrimpTanks I noticed in alot of your tanks you have no green walls?
I do but in some of the tanks its not so noticable, like this morning I just cleaned all the front panels of the glass on the inside and every tank had green build up on the glass, green walls can also come and go if you let the plants grow to much which I am bad for.
hello Marc, what kind of powder food is this? Do you perhaps have a name? Maybe I can buy that too
Dead shrimp powder if you go on shrimp manias channel I know he has links for it.
Hello Marc, many breeders and keepers say if you don't feed the shrimp often, they don't reproduce as well, is that true?
I feed my tanks just once a week, the soil grows biofilm on it that the shrimp are always grazing.
