You're a well organized woman, your pantry is well stocked with amazing looking items, healthy too! Hope you have a wonderful spring, you look so rested and happy! Blessing!!
I love how aesthetically pleasing and yet so practical the canned goods are. Bookshelves are such a good idea because they're not so deep that things go to the back and get overlooked. I need to come up with a better solution for my big pantry . It needs a few changes so we're working through the oldest first and even the cans of food aren't being rotated often enough. I needed some inspiration, thank you for sharing ,Elissa ❤❤
You are so welcome. It does help that my family knows how to grab the correct jar, from the left, when they’re hungry and not to move jars around looking for something. Also going through the jars, like I did for this video was helpful to me, as I thought I had a few things that I didn’t have and obviously I had more Mulberries than I realised too.
Thank you, Thanks, I made that out of old picture frames, chain and wire mesh. The best thing is that it is hanging in a space that would be wasted. Oh yes the pink grapefruit is delicious.😋
Beautiful and organized pantry. I still need an income to get the three of us a place. I need most household items as I only have two outdoor rugs, my standing desk, a desktop, a set of half gallon Mason jars, kitchen utensils, flatware, a knife set, a tool set, and an air fryer. I need to get everything else. I want a large closet in my room and a large pantry. Can't find that in houses here but found it in several discount metal house kits. Still trying to figure out transportation. Already had my Psych exam and waiting on the eye exam. Still need at least three more work appropriate pants for the Step Up Construction class I plan to attend in the Spring. It is Fall here. Still feels like Summer mid day. The mornings and night are cool. My sister has been hanging out here on Sundays and Wednesdays lately.
I'm also in Australia and I'm trying to learn canning. All of the videos I see online use these special two part jar lids or a canning machine. I'm trying to do with with just simple glass jars that I collect and wondering if that's possible, without equipment.
If you are waterbath canning high Ph foods, like fruits, jams and jellies, then the jars you find are probably suitable if sterilised properly. For pressure canning low acid foods, you need the correct jars and lids so they seal and the glass doesn’t break at the high temperature and pressure required for safe pressure canning. It’s definitely an investment to purchase mason jars, but the jars can be reused. Putting up excess food you’re growing or buying in bulk at good prices or in season is worth the initial investment (to me, for my lifestyle). I just purchased a dozen jars at a time and eventually had enough for my rotation. (If you can ever have enough jars….) Lids need to be purchased in bulk and replaced new, each use.
Mmm…I need to sort my pantry out. Thanks for the inspiration.
I love your canning videos too, you’re a wonderful resource. N

Nice. Lots of goodies there.
Thanks Edie 😁
You still have the best hanging dry racks. So pretty. I heard you say grapefruit. I bet it's beautiful.

Really enjoyed the pantry tour.
Glad you enjoyed it Cheryl 😀
Thanks for the tour. Getting new ideas for canning is wonderful, you have such a beautiful pantry.
That’s the cool thing, everyone’s pantry is different, depending on what they like to eat.
