Parallel Departures and High Speed Blast: Mumbai Rajdhani Full Journey I

- A full journey compilation on WR King - 12952 Mumbai Rajdhani Express. The compilation starts with the parallel action between the Mumbai and Sealdah Rajdhanis, both of which depart from New Delhi at 1630 sharp. The two Ghaziabad WAP7 hauled Rajdhanis slowly snake out of New Delhi station and initially, the Sealdah Rajdhani takes a small lead. However, after clearing the temporary speed restriction, the Mumbai Rajdhani sharply notches up and surges forward, leaving the Sealdah Rajdhani in the lurch. Subsequently, we furiously race through the plains of Uttar Pradesh towards Mathura. We slowly skip Mathura and have another parallel departure with the Gondwana Express, which is Agra bound. Here again, we cruise past the Gondwana Express and head into the Mathura-Kota section.
In the Mathura-Kota section, we once again unleash a tremendous display of speed, flying through Bharatpur and the rugged terrain of Rajasthan. A sharp evening shower creates a fascinating sunset and the sets the tone for a brilliant and colourful evening. In the midst of this all, the Rajdhani coolly skips Bayana, Hindaun City and Gangapur City. As dusk envelops us, we roar through Sawai Madhopur at full tilt and enter Kota 10 minutes ahead of schedule. I went off to bed after Kota, but woke up at Ratlam, to see we had reached 20 minutes ahead of schedule there.
Hats off to your editing and attention to details. A big salute to our Indian Railways and their loco pilots and all the crew involved in our safe journey.

There are plenty of other trains around the world which do 200/300k+ but I honestly think Indian Railways especially Rajdhani and Shatabdi give the best sensation of speed. The noise, vibration and just watching the world go by as you wizz past stations upon stations, villages, road crossing... truly mesmerising! Thank you Indian Railways.

Haha! They sometimes get a little upset if the door is opened.
Well you should not open the door when u are moving at 130km/hr, so toilet window is the safest place :P
