Got a question for you, I used to live in Pedro off of Pacfic& 39 before Point Ferman lighthouse i miss the area have you ever seen a shark diving off San Pedro waters?
@@OutdoorAdventuresForever oh okay thank you! I've been snorkeling right there everyday for the past week. I haven't went out as far as you have but I think im going to. I've been snorkeling in swimming trunks but winter is coming so ima have to get a suit
I don’t fish or Spearfish, but this is California and one needs a license to do almost anything. Go to the California Department of Fish and Wildlife or search “fishing license in California”. No one is allowed on the jetty itself. Watch the video, I think there’s a moment showing the no trespassing signs where the jetty begins.
Thanks! I'm taking a friend diving for the first time tomorrow, and this is the closest place to her house.
I go to this beach all the time. Will be fishing there soon.
Great vid.Iknow that area well.Nice to know what the bottom looks like, for fishing and crabbing.
Best video of Painted Greenling of seen. Especially tough freediving.
This is awesome. I just got the thought in my head to become a scuba diver
beautiful dive! I use to go here all the time but haven't been lately. great to see how clear the water!

So far, no, but hoping to at some point.
2:27 Yellow rock crab, Metacarcinus anthonyi
No black on claws but I think you're right, thanks.
@@OutdoorAdventuresForever The more I look at it, I think it might be Metacarcinus gracilis, Graceful rock crab.
Where'd you find the sand dollars at? Swam on the beach side of the smaller jetty but i might've missed them or didn't swim in the right area
You were in the right area. Maybe they're not around Cabrillo now, I don't know anything about them, sorry.
@@WehrliPubs Thanks, but one more thing, how far were you swimming from the jetty when you saw them? I kinda stuck close to the rocks
@@HughMungus8512 I guess I was a little ways out.
We're you snorkeling or scuba diving? Also how many of the fish you seen are edible?
Snorkeling. As for edible fish, I don’t hunt so not an expert. Some people eat Kelp Bass. But the fish seen may not be legal size to hunt.

Actually it’s right at the beginning of the video.
