    Thanks! I'm taking a friend diving for the first time tomorrow, and this is the closest place to her house.

      @@OutdoorAdventuresForever The more I look at it, I think it might be Metacarcinus gracilis, Graceful rock crab.

    Where'd you find the sand dollars at? Swam on the beach side of the smaller jetty but i might've missed them or didn't swim in the right area

      You were in the right area. Maybe they're not around Cabrillo now, I don't know anything about them, sorry.

      @@WehrliPubs Thanks, but one more thing, how far were you swimming from the jetty when you saw them? I kinda stuck close to the rocks

    We're you snorkeling or scuba diving? Also how many of the fish you seen are edible?

    • @OutdoorAdventuresForever
      @OutdoorAdventuresForever  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Snorkeling. As for edible fish, I don’t hunt so not an expert. Some people eat Kelp Bass. But the fish seen may not be legal size to hunt.

    Do you need a fishing licence to fish on the jetty there?

    • @OutdoorAdventuresForever
      @OutdoorAdventuresForever  ปีที่แล้ว

      I don’t fish or Spearfish, but this is California and one needs a license to do almost anything. Go to the California Department of Fish and Wildlife or search “fishing license in California”. No one is allowed on the jetty itself. Watch the video, I think there’s a moment showing the no trespassing signs where the jetty begins.

      Actually it’s right at the beginning of the video.
