I've been using SDRUno for years now, and while the learning curve was steep, the functionality is top notch. I'm a SW utilities DXer and while I appreciate all the hard work that's gone into SDRConnect, until I see a memory management system similar to what SDRUno provides, I'll be sticking with SDRUno.
HRO, thank you for posting this notice of update to SDRplay software. I purchased a RSP1A many years ago from you and could never find an SDRplay software or other panadapter software to make the RSP1A work with my Windows 10 laptop. This new SDRConnect works perfect, finally! This took me five minutes to download, install, connect to my RSP1A and laptop and finally enjoy excellent full bands receiving.
I rarely used my RSP1a on my MAC mostly do the poor choices are software. Between the lockups and crashes I gave up. I just downloaded SDRconnect and WOW...I'm back to using my RSP1a again and I'm also going to purchase the RSP1B in the near future solely due to SDRconnect running so well on my Mac. Thank you.
I have a problerm when I right click on the digital display at the top it goes to 1,000 hz and I cant get it out of that, unless I start the program over. Anyone else have this issue?
Looking forward to loading up my Ubuntu machines with SDRconnect. Thank you SDRplay for your hard work in creating this new software. Loved the demo. Really user friendly interface. And thank you Julian for posting this. Best 73's.
Thanks for the intro, this looks very interesting. And thank you to the software team that developed it. I'll be downloading today. Really glad to see a multi-platform product.
@@dazer123 Right... I understood... but the answer to your question was in the video 🤣 Look at 5:29 onward. Feature requests should be directed to SDRplay as they are the developer.

SdrConnect is lightyears better than SDRUno... Much less clutter with the fact it doesn't open 9 windows

Is there any provision for ham radio transceiver control in the future?
You're asking in the wrong place! You'd need to ask SDRplay. ;-)

Memory scan is very important to me. Will wait with Uno, until implemented.
Thank you! SDRconnect works very well with my Pi 5 and RSP1A.
I would like to see a SDRconnect feature to use the SDRplay Duo for direction finding and fox hunting with two fixed width antennas.
Great to see you Julian... Stay safe J
Will this new Connect software run on an RSP 2?

You got a convert once it can be setup to sync with my radio and logger, and when DSP comes. Other than that looks amazing!
What about tablets?
Doctor: Take 2 and call me in the morning.
@@HamRadioOutlet lol not joking using this on a android tablet would be fantastic

Does this work with the new SDR Play 1
There is no such product in SDRplay's lineup.
