Jim Morrison died July 3, 1971 and was buried in Paris. 27 club member, with Jimi Hendrix, Amy Whitehouse, plus Alan "Blind Owl" Wilson from Canned Heat, and others too many to mention.

My childhood friends uncle was a door's fan & I have great memories of listening to the Doors at her grandmother's house! We were about 10 yrs old. Been a fan ever since. Definitely more doors please....tracks of my childhood. Love & light 💜🏴🌻
Ray played a vox continental combo organ for chords and melodies but he had a fender rhodes bass keyboard stacked on top. If you watch their live performances they had no conventional bass player, it was just Manzarak's left hand while noodling away on the vox for that riveting organ sound with his right hand. Somebody below said he was using a foot pedal technique for bass work. While I never heard of him doing that I wouldn't put it past him. He was an innovator. On the last album, LA Woman they did bring in a bass player, Jerry Scheff. Talented guy! Great bass player.
1970. The Doors were brilliant. Jim Morrison was a poet and a rebel. Ray's keyboards are legendary. Analog. No auto-tune. Pre MTV Pre-video days. Photographers were one camera...sometimes two if a big show...but non-digital. Equipment nothing like the advanced units of today. It picked up everything....unfiltered... and it was great. Miss it.
They would have a bass player for recording but live it was all Ray. I think 😁. If you like harmonica then try Charlie Musselwhite - Christo Redemptor, plenty of live versions on here.

You can watch all programming on the BBC with it 1 month comes in at 18 dollars roughly. Think u need nordvpn or something. Not sure. Someone else might have a better understanding
