Maono has surprised me with the quality of their devices I recently received the lavalier wireless mics from them and I'm super impressed. May have to check this out as well great video!
Congrats on another well rounded and informative review. This mic looks really cool and sounds pretty good as well, but I don't think it's something that I personally would buy. Based on this review against the Fifine AM8, the AM8 definitely outshines this one (in my opinion). I haven't looked up the MSRP yet, but I'm guessing between $60.00 - $90.00 USD. Thanks for the info bro. I hope you're doing well. BTW, you were getting a little too "in" to rubbing that mic...just saying LMAO! Peace brother.
Hey man great video. Audio sounds good to me. Question for you. I also own this pd100x and I have added into obs as a mic input. My question is. Is it normal for the pd100x mic to be a mono input in obs? Because in obs the mic is showing as just 1 line in the audio level meters. It’s not showing 2 lines as a stereo input. Is this normal for it to be a mono mic input with just 1 line in the audio level meters? It’s literally only showing 1 line. It’s not showing 2 lines with 1 of the lines greyed out. Hope this makes sense and you can give me your suggestion on this. Thank you. Subbed.
@@LeoPazzo thanks for the sub👍🏽. So in OBS make sure you have audio set to stereo in settings/audio/channels drop down. Also check in advanced audio properties mono is checked. If not, check that box.
@@tautau7729 hey there. So these are to different mics on a hardware level. One is a condenser and the other is dynamic. I haven’t gotten my hands on these 2 to tell for sure. The specs are on par for both but can’t tell if that condenser will pick up more ambient noise than the dynamic here. They usually do. I feel like it depends on the kind of mic you need for your environment.
I just got the mic love the look but with xlr mode connected to my mixer it’s sounds horrible there’s a lot of like electrical interference, do you have a solution to fix this ?
@@jesusangelzuniga333 didn’t experience any electrical interference in my trials. Could possibly be cable cross talk. Perhaps try different cabling. At worst it’s a bad unit.
Hi amazing review. I would like to ask. If the mic have a headphone jack for monitoring our voice. Can I also heard my game sound in the mic together? Since I plan using laptop for streaming. Thank you
@@zerohero3037you won’t be able to reduce the game sound of the mic. The monitoring volume is only for your monitoring. It controls all audio you hear through the mic only.
@@CatFanchik this is a hit or miss. A lot of the time it has no effect either way. And that is also bad manufacturing where it exists as these mics require usb if you want to use it with RGB on and xlr audio. This mic in particular elicited no difference with one or 2. Able connected. If you have a cheaply made or bad cable then yea you may get some sort of unwanted signal or line noise.

Thanks for the feedback. Agreed they do have good quality devices. Favorite mic now is by them.
Is a very interesting mic. Cool for gamers and for the price… sounds good in my opinion
I Agree with everything you just said 👍🏽

Yup even a little over the top. But pretty cool. 😎
Good microphone! Thank you for your recommendation!
fifine am8 or maono pd100x? which one is better for you?
@@pjpark3694 I think the AM8 has a better sound quality.
pd200x vs pd100x which one is better in your opinion?🧐

due to the fact that you use usb + xlr, it will make a squeak, Don't use them together!!!
