I've never had that much trouble with fire rats as grail knight, you just need to get right next to them with the shield and shove them before you start beating them up
It does benefit. Weapon swing has actual time and physical hitbox. So if you move screen during sweep you can aim right angle and hit more enemies during attack. Exceccive example is new spear type weapons, you can actually hit many enemies with stabs if turn screen during them. Same with axes (so weapons which have short swing animation, but good cleave in background)
I often perform dodge while doing charge attacks and push attacks as a habit. This is not a trick as it uses push attack and dodge at the same time. If you check it carefully, you will understand.
Okay, I have a question... I started playing Vermintide 2 recently (a friend bought me a key) and, call me stupid all you like, there is a motion I really want to achieve but can't get my hands on... How do you do the double slash with the mace & sword ? The one you almost always use after a parry/push ? At first I though it was an old motion, and maybe it had been patched since then. Then I saw the stabbing motion you use with your shield ( 9:40 ) which I can't get either... And I finally noticed the double shield bash at 17:57 which is one of my favorite move and something I definitely use a lot! I tried many time to get the infamous stabbing motion with the sword, but all I get is the shield bash, a normal light attack, or a normal heavy attack.
Ok so i am new to grail knight and was told that weapon is only dlc is there way i can get it of do i need the dlc and if anybody knows the dlc and how to get this weapon please tell me
@@bufan7177 Empire S&S kills hordes faster than bret shield and mace shield. Struggles against armor if you can’t get mostly headshots. Honestly now the spear shield does everything better than it though, except for generate temp health.
i never would have thought that after all my hours on Grail Knight that this would become my favourite weapon combo.

Fire Rats look like absolute hell to play against, as a solo melee only build.
Mace and Shield is the best for killing them

I think you probably mean push attack, but if you use light attack quickly right after using push, you can use it.
What are the challenges on the right that give rewards? I play on Xbox and have never seen that
A unique effect of Grail Knight that will buff you and your allies by clearing the goal.
Is kiting the Warpfire thrower something you should try if your surrounded?
If you are isolated. I think it's safer to use the skill, as the visibility will be extremely poor while using the shield.
I use Sword & Mace with the Hammer. What talents are best for the weapon combo I use? I primarily use Sword & Mace
Honestly, whichever one you choose will work with that weapon. It's your choice.

I have a PS4, but I have never played there. Vermintide is not sold in general game shops in Japan
So bret s&s suck compare to other shield?
Nope, it has very good single target damage, a quick push bash combo, and much better mobility than base game shields.

It's like a knife in other games. no special meaning
