Excellent video, thank you. The trees look great. What soil mixture do you use in the development stages? Keep the videos coming, I do enjoy the content.
Thanks a lot! With these, I just used a mix of compost, seedling mix (just sifted compost really), normal garden soil and a bit of sand. The reason being, the garden soil adds micro organism life that isnt in the compost, and will also help the compost retain a bit more water. The compost will help to make it drain better and not get waterlogged.
Awesome video!! I have a Mame monkey thorn. It is also leafing put for some reason. I found they are really resistant to root pruning. Once again, Awesome video 👍🍁
@MimNat Do you have any tips for me as I am struggling with root rot with my spekboom? It's in "the Boons mix," and all this rain isn't helping. I'm keeping it covered, but do you know how I could prevent it in the future even though it's in a well draining soil.
@@ChillGuyBonsaitheir natural habitat is semi-arid to arid. So if you already have it in well draining soil, then the only other option is to build small greenhouse for them!😅 Thats what I did when I lived in an area that also got a lot of rain. I built a small greenhouse with a few poles and those see through plastic sheets people put on roofs sometimes
Nice trees, first time I see this species 👍
Such a cool channel!!

Yea, I must say the senegalia species handles it way better than the vachellia!
