That black “mar mixed sheen” carved piece that looked like a Mexican idol - it’s made of rainbow or silver sheen obsidian. It’s worth picking up even with a chip. If you ever find anything made of this pick it up and I’ll buy it from you. You may already know, obsidian is a natural glass made in a volcanic eruption. Obsidian can be found in many varieties. There is plain black, rainbow ( can look like green, blue irridized layers, sliver or gold sheen, snowflake - looks like gray ash snowflakes are frozen in it, there are some that have reddish or mahogany colored swirls in it). All of them are translucent like colored glass if it’s thin enough. And of course you probably are familiar with native made arrowheads and cutting tools have been made from it.

Shoes similar to those were apparently part of his wardrobe for elite costume balls around the (1920s?) Guess they complimented his exaggerated, curly mustache. ( : I really like your (nod to the art deco era) candle holders and that original 1920s-30s silver tray w/handle. It's my favorite era. Can you tell? Lol ( : The stone tiki figure was most likely obsidian gemstone and worth reselling. Wish you would have looked to see the signature under the camel. Looked like the ones they made during the 1920s, Egyptian revival period. Good buy on the Irish pottery and your purple Colorado pottery. At 17:38 are four green Japanese pottery cups used for tea drinking in (1930s or so), that would be a nice addition to your around the world sale. My niece's late mother-in-law Hitome, was the cook for the Empress of Japan back then and the Empress gifted a teapot and cup set identical to those to her.

A lot of you did notice the little sake cups, but I have a few of them already and there are a lot for sale on eBay as well as the market I’m in and those did not have the horses on them I think I’m gonna keep those candle sticks, I still haven’t research them to see who might’ve made them, but they’re so super nice, and I was kind of shocked at the low price, especially at that particular Goodwill . 💕🥰💕

At 3:45 just in front of the bell on a stand was a replica of an ancient Eastern oil lamp. It could have been a real one but they are reproduced and made to look ancient. I brought some home from Israel when I went.
The statue is black tiger's eye and yeah it really sucks that that was kind of chipped but the other really cool not as cool as The hotel front desk bell. Love your videos

i dont know what i love more glass or pottery well besides rocks and crystals lol. i just love pretty things hehe. anyhow i love finding pottery from ireland (i have quite a bit of irish celtic ancestry) though i've not found anything with that glaze before. by me its very few and far between that i find anything from ireland period so i try to snatch it up when i can. the candle holder with the woodland creatures i'm in love with that is adorable my oldest daughter did my granddaughters room in that theme. your guys thrift stores are so much better than ours i used to be able to find plenty but last couple yrs it seems like ours are just a lot of broken junk unless you can find a small mom and pop store or one for a church or charity that doesnt have someone on ebay pricing stuff at asking prices or pulling to sell online in the first place. i was going to fly down to visit my son in longmont this spring but now i'm def gonna drive so i can go thrifting and take stuff home with me lol. thanks for taking us along love your videos!

I love all of the pottery you found this trip. If you ever come across any David Enna pottery, please pick it up & I will buy it from you. His pottery has a round stamp with an “E” in the middle of it, or his older pieces are signed “enna” on the bottom. David Enna is a potter from Zig Zag, OR, which is just 30 minutes from me. My mom collected his blue & brown mountain pieces for years & I inherited her entire collection when she passed a couple years ago. It wasn’t really my style at first, but I have fallen in love with it & am always looking for pieces. It’s very rare to find, even in my area. I think I’ve only seen one or two pieces listed on eBay. Anyway, thought I would put that out there, jic. Thanks Yvon!😊
