I just love your Dad and the fact that he wears "I Love Jesus" tee. I'll bet he's really a sweetheart. I use to do things with my Dad until he passed away at 92 a few years ago. ❤ I REALLY like that you didn't put the hunting dog decanters in your cart & run comps later. That is so respectful to other shoppers! It really frustrates me when I see resellers put something in their cart & WAIT to run comps... only to find out it wasn't worth much, & put it back. Somebody else that may have wanted that, would not have seen it because it was stuck in some ones cart... I like your style. You are so respectful of other people!

Hi Yvonne.. I'm a Potter and I just wanted to tell you that when checking out pitchers, look where the handles connect to the clay body. If they are thin they are going to break eventually. That handle looked on the thin side compared to the size of the pot. Just an observation. And I always use a combination of my initials to sign my work. It's not important enough to look up

I do not have a website or etsy. I bachelor's degree in fine art, pottery is my favorite art medium. I just like to make it. But I do have knowledge of what to look for in quality work. Like if the base of the piece is super heavy, it could have been pulled a few inches higher to even out the weight and walls. If it's bottom heavy that's not really great unless you need a door stopper!

Yes marquis by Waterford is the more affordable version of the brand. Still nice, though.
that’s what I thought by looking at it, I was like this is not the high end crystal that Waterford is really known for 🌻🧡

Some great things there, I loved the mug with the cats and dogs which you put back! The fact that there wasnt another comparable would mean it is more unique to me.
I found 4 Starbucks black coffee mugs with the black spider web. They are special Halloween edition and worth $40.00 each. Found at the Salvation Army thrift store. I was so happy, but I almost missed them due to the black on black motif.

Hi Yvonne - the cup for your Dad - you might be able to find a replacement lid.
My mom has the set of Fostoria American (iced tea or water goblets and sherbets) that my dad's parents gave them as a wedding gift back in the 1950's. Assuming that someday it would come to me, I started picking up other pieces like serving bowls, etc. as I found them cheap. I learned that true Fostoria is usually heavier, with smoother edges on the "cubes" and is a brighter more clear glass than the others like "cubist", etc.
I paid 35 hundred for my baby grand used. They got a real good deal.
