Well you kinda did upgrade from the IS300, cuz those are pretty hard to turbo since you gotta do a whole bunch of shit you shouldn't have to, and the 2JZ in those sucks.. So in a way you upgraded cuz at least the Civic had a aftermarket and you could mod the hell out of it if you needed to.. But yeah I can see why it wasn't an upgrade lol

When the bonnet popped open and you see the d15 (face palm). I was expecting a b series turbo at least. This car needs a load of work to make it an upgrade from the Lexus. Most important thing is you like it, so hope it turns out good for you! Good luck

I SOLD IT TO A BUDDY WHO HAS SINCE RESTORED THE CAR AND GOT it in working order. when i got the car i got it for cheap which was what i could affor and i got it near the end of its life. so the civic may not havebeen an upgrade persay but as far as the individual car it was better for me

i know lexus considering this is my 3rd one. its still a 2j just no turbos. they are still strong motors, slab some ebay turbos on there and you can easily push 400

Wow how much did you pay for this at the police auction. Call them back maybe they found the missing front end. Looks like it rolled over 5 or 6 times. Wow it came with an e brake and gauges. You better check under the seats and the glove box maybe they left a joint behind then you will have something to smoke instead of burning oil coming out the fart tube exhaust.

How much did you pick this up for man? Hopefully you didn't pay over $1200. It's running an eBay turbo kit, untuned. The car is rattle can painted (I laughed out loud when you said custom paint), and full of rust. The engine bay is filthy, the body is covered in dents, and the interior is disgusting.
This car was either owned by a 16 year old kid, or was some guys weekend hack for when his proper build was on axle stands. I don't know how you're taking this car so seriously here.

My is300 was in just as bad a shape. Although I would rather the is I needed something that was fun. I got this car for free and this guy did a favor taking the is off my hands because the city threatened to take if because I still had plates on it and it wasn't registered.
