I’m so tired of the companies changing formulas and “fixing” what isn’t broken. Also, I went to Mane Krush’s website and they don’t even have a butter other than the Magikal Butter, which is only in stock in the fall. It’s frustrating, because I use butters year-round in my hair. Lol. and I’ve discovered that I LOVE using the Uniqurl with Bask & Bloom’s Silky Aloe Curl Pudding, which is basically a butter.

I think I could have received a bad batch of the Mane Krush’s Magikal Butter, because mine is so gritty. I enjoyed the Unikorn Kurls, though. The Adwoa Beauty products that you use for twists, gives me great wash and go results. They smell great too. Maybe I’ll try the Baomint Leave-In with the Ecoslay Jello Shot Gel, that I just received. I just used the Uniqurl 4-in-1 styler with the TGIN honey whip mousse and I got a great twistout!! Not sure how long it's going to last since my hair feels really soft and typically doesn't hold styles very long in general but I'm obsessed with how it looks today!
I knew it was the hair paint. It’s beautiful. My last twist out I used a gel and it improved tremendously. I’m gonna try the Camille Rose combo next since I have those products. We love a lot of the same leave ins. Adwoa Beauty, Untie the Knot, Camille Rose, etc. I think I have more leave ins then anything else.

Hey! Thank you so much for this, came right in time for my wash day for tomorrow. In regards to Tre luxe do you have the serum? I think it’s in a purple bottle, was interested to see how it would pair with the cream as opposed to the other gel. I’m going to use the melanin hair care this time with the mane choice gel and see how that works. I had the proceed with Caution but I had it so long it went bad on me, it just didn’t look right so I threw it out. I had a great twist out with tgin miracle repair hair food with the gelato. I absolutely love your videos, this video made me go back to my hair lab aka closet lol and try out some new combos! I love your hair as well, makes me want to grow my sides again!

Have you tried tying your roots down with a scarf? I don’t usually do twist outs but that’s how I get my roots smooth when I wear twists!
Use edge control at the roots of your twists before twisting.
I think she started doing twaid outs to address that. It's where you braid the first couple inches and twist the rest.
Hey love all of these suggestions are good for puffy roots. Sometimes adding extra gel or products help. My roots def get puffy over time 😂
Do all the adwoa products smell minty?
Yes, they all have the same minty smell. Normally I don’t like minty smells but I love the adwoa smell since it’s a sweet mint smell.
