    That pecan rub sounds like something I need to order! And that pork loin looked tender and juicy and I'm sure it made for a perfect supper!😋👍

      Right, it doesn’t matter if dinner is the noon or evening meal. What matters is you are dinning, not merely eating. Dinner could be a big feast or banquet, or a romantic meal for two. Supper, is just we ought to eat something before we go to bed, it could be Ramen noodles, or meatloaf, but it ain’t fancy it’s just routine.
      That’s how I comprehend it anyway. Even so the meaning is changing, the newer generations don’t use the word supper, and opt for dinner to refer any evening meal.
      Thanks for watching Joe.

    Great dissertation on Supper vs. Dinner - Makes sense, although I never thought of it much - I thought it was a regional (or status) thing - "fancy people" call in dinner, and I call it "supper". - lol
    Cheers!

    Pecan,...you got it right Lew, for it is the only way it is suppose to be said. Fat IS flavor,...fact! Supper is a BIBLICAL term. Nicely done!

      Folks should keep their Pee Cans away from my kitchen and and bbq pits, because that is unsanitary. Thanks Paulie.

    I can't remember the last time we had 100 degree weather. I don't even have an air conditioner. I would use the electric as well. The pork loins looks delicious. Great video.

      Thank you. It’s a quarter to seven in the evening. It is still 97°F the high today was 102° w/ index of 109. Summer is not grilling season. Thanks for watching.

    That looks very good. I bought a seasoned pork loin from Sam’s Club that was not very good flavor wise. I do want to try one soon following your recipe.
    This week I used my Big Easy to cook a whole chicken because of the heat and humidity in Louisiana.

    I am confused as to when you used the apple juice?

    • @BigLewBBQ
      @BigLewBBQ  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Earlier that morning I used I brined the loin in a mixture of the pork brine and apple juice. The brine is powder, I mixed a ¼ cup of the brine powder, with 12oz of juice. The loin was in the brine for about 7 hours. I begin the video at this point after it had brined.
