Hello Friends In This Vlog I am Delighted to introduce you to This unique Temple Of lord Bhairava aka Kal Bhairav. Bhairava is worshipped throughout India, Nepal, Indonesia, Sri Lanka, and Japan, as well as in Tibetan Buddhism.
Kala Bhairava Temple is a Hindu temple located in the city of Ujjain, Madhya Pradesh, India. It is dedicated to Kala Bhairava, the patron deity of the city. Located on the banks of the Shipra River, it is one of the most active temples in the city, visited by hundreds of devotees daily.
Liquor is one of the offerings to the temple deity. Liquor is offered to the temple deity as one of the five Tantric rituals known as the Panchamakara: madya (wine), manasa (meat), meena or matsya (fish), mudra (bhaav or dry grain) and maithuna (sexual intercourse). In ancient times, all five offerings were offered to the deity, but now only liquor is offered; the other four offerings are meant for symbolic rituals.
The current temple structure was built over the remains of an older temple. The original temple is believed to have been built by an unknown king named Bhadrasena. It is mentioned in the Avanti Khanda of the Skanda Purana. Images of Shiva, Parvati, Vishnu and Ganesha belonging to the Paramara period (9th-13th centuries CE) have been recovered from the place.
The walls of the temple were once decorated with Malwa paintings. However, only traces of these paintings are visible now.

Ancient Ujjain, apart from its political and religious importance, was a prestigious center of learning at the beginning of the Mahabharata period. Lord Krishna and Sudama received regular education in the ashram of Guru Sandipani. Maharishi Sandipani’s ashram is situated at Mangalnath road foot.
The area near the ashram is known as Ankpat, a place believed to have been used by Lord Krishna to wash his writings.
The numbers 1 to 100 found on a stone are believed to have been engraved by Guru Sandipani. The Gomti Kund mentioned in the Puranas was the source of water supply to the ashram in the olden days. An image of Nandi near the pond dates back to the Shunga period. Is.
The followers of the Vallabh sect consider this place as the 73rd seat out of the 84 seats of Vallabhacharya where he gave his discourses across India.
