Rachel, love your vids. Downloaded June months ago from your previous vlog. Do you have a gamer name? I'm Miss Fisher and gift plants to my friends all the time. 😁
Absolutely enjoyed you vlog🤗💗, thank you for uploading😊. And to me, the gloves hidden in the coat (man's coat), maybe are a sign of a secret love affair, they were sewn in after all. How interesting😊.
Wow, that had to feel like you had time traveled to the 20’s. Everyone in beautiful outfits meandering among the gardens of a grand estate...🥰..Heaven!! -"In his blue gardens men and girls came and went like moths among the whisperings and the champagne and the stars." Thanks for taking us along with you 🤗💜🦋!
The trumpet player is Alex Owen of the Messy Cookers in New Orleans! I've had the grand pleasure of playing with them at the Little Gem Saloon. I was just down the street at Breakers and at Castle Hill Inn for lunch.
No! The gloves are adult!!:) They used to wet the gloves and use a glove tool to streach out the fingers and put them on. By doing this it made the gloves like a 2nd skin. When the dry they look like they shrink. Look for the finger stretching tool at antique stores
oooh a Phryne fisher lookbook, like maybe all the characters? or even just her a couple looks. also, the vest looks great on you. and I can just imagine the story behind the secret compartment. a gift from a lover? a disguise whilst going about town solving mysteries?
Wonderful as always! It was a pleasure meeting you at the Roaring 20's Lawn Party! I'm so glad that you came and had a such a great time! You got some great stuff at the shops! Hope to see you again there next year!
I remember showing this to my grandmother when she was sick. She said she enjoyed her youth and is glad to see that people still enjoy the wonderful things she once enjoyed. She also said she wants to move there when she feels like it's her time.
Love the gloves! Vintage gloves are so much fun to wear. I just was given a heap of gloves and am having a great time wearing them. You guys looked fabulous as the Goldstein sisters!
I was given some of my nanas old vintage gloves- and I was just so happy. Turns out my nana and I have the same size hands too. They’re gorgeous 50’S style white wrist gloves.
I use a wheelchair or crutches to get around and this can cause some serious hand ouchies. Bike gloves are sooo not me. Vintage gloves are PERFECTION. For fancy days I even have a pair of vintage Dior wrist white leather ones. Just call me Evita.
I totally get that 'I wanna show everyone what I bought' thing. I'm pretty sure it's to prolong the satisfaction you get from getting new things for yourself what I like to call 'buying high'
I didn't realize until now that we are soon entering the new 20's era (2020s, that is!), as someone below stated. How cool is that! Does that mean we get to party as they did back in Gatsby's day? Also: when you put on that wig I thought how you kind of have a very 1920s face - I think they'd let you star in some Clara Bow pictures, y'know. 😉💕💕 PS That charleston was awesome, looks like lots of fun 😍
You guys looked great! Low-key Tina and Queenie vibes from Fantastic Beasts. And what a fun party, in such a gorgeous venue, thanks for sharing that wonderful day with us!
Everything about this was beautiful, especially the “Rachel” locket because you can have not one but FOUR photos of Frodo... Edit: Or SIX? Either way, too good to be true
My Aunt Mary told me about going to a high class garden party. She was surprised by thinly sliced skinned cucumbers on toast with a thin scrape of mayo. Toast with America cheese with salad dressing. Egg salad with parsley, green onion on marble bread. Crusts cut off of with a bread with a sharp knife so not to tear the bread edges. Olives, pickles, etc if too large and clumsy were cut. Everything had serving thongs. China plates were the rule of the day and silver was the utensils. For tea cubes sugar only.
I'm dying 😂 me and my friends went to this party and we saw you guys! My friend came up and asked you if you were doing Harry Potter inspired costumes since you looked so cute! Just found your videos today when looking at vintage fashion stuff lol Ah small world.
I stumbled upon your channel via one of your clothing hauls being on my sidebar and gave it a chance. I'm enamored with your content and have been watching all the way back from the beginning and am here. I have approximately 190 videos to watch before i get to your current stuff.

Rachel!!! You two looked so heckin beautiful and that party looked like the most fun! I wish we had something like that where I live... Also that cameo and dress were absolutely beautiful!
