lol, "That's America right there...that's the sound of freedom". Best line I've heard from a youtube gamer ever! Had me rolling. Keep up the good videos. Your playthroughs got me interested so I purchased the game last week. I'm very impressed with it. Have a lot to learn about it and you help tremendously in what to do, and not to do through you noticing your own mistakes and not keeping them from the public.
I'm loving these videos. I think PERHAPS you ought to consider moving some lasers forward so that they can engage enemy early. Also TRAPS. They seem to work well. Make them more dense. NOTE: I HAVE NOT PLAYED THE GAME MYSELF YET (lol) SO MY ADVICE IS PROBABLY USELESS. But thanks for the great entertainment.
Honestly it was a ton of fun doing this series’s I learned a lot of new concepts I wish I knew early game. I don’t think I’d do insane again though as I felt the near constant raids killed creativity. The end result of this series is a mammoth arsenal of death
Maybe on a lower more relaxing difficulty, although that's probably an "alien" concept to you. Using all the new robots on another scenario might be fun.@@TacticatGaming
lol, "Artillery" that's my way to manage these bots as well. I also use the flyers to mop up the ones that don't drop or get scattered. But well after the artillery is engaged.
Plant forests, huge forests, in the areas you don’t want the bad bots to attack from. On the back and sides of your base. It was working for me. Make a pathway between the forests and they should “path” that way. Lead them to your front door. If you shoot them thru the forests they may cut thru them, so try to hold your fire until they’re in your kill zone.
Yes for the other scenarios but not this one as resources are abundant. Solar roofs don’t need to be repairs but graphene solar panels have 3 x energy per tile - is use solar roofs for sure in other scenarios
On the heat pumps, it used to be that if you wanted heat you put it one way around, cold you put it the other way. Guess they just wanted it to work for heat/cold.
hi i just wonder about hit distribution, did you install connections between rooms for the temperatur diffusion? the both pumps are in the same room, i cannot figure how it works on your whole building, i had the idea that walls stops. moving mouse to other rooms shows the degrees on each closed room. what about second floor?
The Problem you having is 2 fold. Most importanly, your supply stock MASSIVLY boosts your colony value, which the AI responds with massive raid. You just have to many ressources. And yes, this can be gamelosing. 2ndly, covering your turrents; most people dont know this because its a build work around that should be in the game imo. build the foundations of your turrets in such a way that, if you would add a wall, after the construction of a turret on top of it, the wall would overarch the the foundation by about half the turretsize, sadly this does not work with fences, ans also you are only able to cover 3 sites max. add the walls after the foundation and turret is complete, this might require an adjacent foundation to stand on for construction
Just curious, is there a way to address the "miss, too dark" prompts during the attacks? Would it be worth it, I guess would be the 1st consideration. 🤔

same, I had to pause and go to the comment section after that, to see if someone laughed as hard as I xD

Great to see your superlative Tacticat strategy with this game! Really fun, and a lot of depth.

All those misses are painfull to watch light that place UP :D

i actually didn't realize this, thank you for pointing this out. i just accidently did it but i had no idea it was working that way
A vulgar display of power!
Planting the forest will manipulate their landing areas. Leave clearings where you want them to land.
“Being weird is Ok!” :) Awsome episode! Keep up the good work, btw, is the new Solar roof any good?
Yes for the other scenarios but not this one as resources are abundant. Solar roofs don’t need to be repairs but graphene solar panels have 3 x energy per tile - is use solar roofs for sure in other scenarios
If you have multiple of the same things to move (I.e windmills) you can double all of them and move them as a group one by one.
Oh shit at 2 min in you know about the trees. Nevermind. You got this. I planted massive forests, I mean massive…with little gaps.
Good strategy and then you can just remove the plant box so they don’t harvest them I’ll do a bunch next time
@@TacticatGaming exactly. I turn harvesting off, leave replanting on.

Yeah that was my understanding too, i noticed this time around they called them heat pump research and i was like oh shit that's a mini split!

I use a manual switch for my guns in this scenario.

Night vision goggles.
