- Finally done, the Tamiya Scania R620 6x4 Highline Kit #56323 is ready
Took almost a week to complete, ton of parts.. build is complex due to the amount of tree parts and screw bags - going back and forth between and looking for the right part
used stock motor and standard Tamiya ESC which I will replace for a hobbywing 1080
I think it cam out nice - what do you think?

Happy you liked it 😎 I do prefer the dual axle compared to the others.. but I think the chassis is a bit too long scale wise

Really liked this video and nice job! I'm new to the hobby, and saw you sanded the cabin parts - I thought they should be primed, not sanded?

They should be sanded and if possible primed (as far as i know).. Unfortunately I dont have a good primer around so I'm just using RC paint - same as I do for lexan bodies. so far it holds fine

Do you need two servos for this truck? One for the steering and one for the gearbox? And the motor is a standard 540 silvercan?
Hi, correct 2 servos and one 540 motor. You can have a 3rd servo to control the trailer coupler

It had all in, you'll need tools, paint and electronics and some CA glue

I use the FS-GT5, I didn't put an MFC on it..
@@gadsrc Thanks. Was the setup quite easy? It's the first time I'm seeing someone using the pistol grip remote instead of the stick remote for trucks
@@grahamaker1648 it's just like any other RC car :) I used ch4 for the gear (3position switch)
I don't like the Tamiya ESC that I used temporarily so I'll switch it to hobbywing 1080 which has smoother ride and low speed
