You aren't *SUPPOSED* to diet or restrict your diet so much when you have an eating disorder such as bulimia or anorexia or hell, even for binge-eating. They had *plenty* of healthy food AND snack food, but none of it was good enough for her, so she lied about it saying her needs weren't met when in reality, she was giving IN to the ED by watching her calories and such so much. Ironic, right?

I cannot get over how she stayed upset that her ED wasn’t properly enabled. I nearly died from mine before I put myself in treatment, never once did I expect other people to enable me like that. Absolutely disgusting, no matter how many times I hear it.
I completely agree. A few people in my life knew how bad my disorder was, even though I told them I never expected them to cater to me an especially not to the level they did. Looking at that trailer I would've been ecstatic with the snacks, many common safe foods were there. I am also much better now btw. My teeth were very messed up as a result from purging and malnutrition and it wasn't until I saved up and spent thousands on dental work that really pushed me to get better. I hope you are doing great as well!

i can’t fathom yelling at a group of people because they brought me goldfish crackers instead of fresh fruit! dunno what gabbie deals with, but for me fruit makes it easy to restrict- and i really really hate the idea of getting people to think they’re helping you when you’re actually trying to be enabled.

i never watch Joey anymore but if there’s ONE thing i know about him is that he’s not a people pleaser. he won’t go online and lie to please the viewers.
What’s so sad about Gabbie is that this 30 year old woman doesn’t know how to take control of her own actions. No one forced her to do the show, she could have said no. No one forced her to eat unhealthy food, she could have brought her own. And when Daniel got her healthy food, she didn’t eat it (and I have an ED so I understand the thoughts/behaviors, but they are not an excuse). No one forced her to make videos, she wanted to. She doesn’t think she has control over her own actions or situation, but she 100% does and has agency. The way she speaks about herself and decisions always makes them out to be forced by someone else.
It's not my place to dictate someone's relationship but I really hope Joey doesn't ever try to mend things with Gabbie.

Gabbie reminds me a lot of my older sister who has BPD (Borderline Personality Disorder) she’s up and down with her emotions and can be quite toxic and very manipulative without realizing and denying it when confronted about it. I hope Gabbie takes a step back and gets the help she needs and realizes what she did wrong.
Edit: of course I don’t know if Gabbie has BPD or not, I’m just seeing a lot of similarities and whatever problems she has (mentally or emotionally) I hope she gets some professional help for it so she can learn to be a better person cause I think she has it in her somewhere.
Sound more like narcissism when it comes to Gabbie, for me BPD is manifesting entirely different because I tend to be more on the 'everyone hates me, I need to work up their value in me and seek the validation to fill the void' side of things. Therapy and medication also helped immensely.

I watch this guy on TikTok who is a diagnosed narcissist but surprisingly has made a lot of progress unlearning the harmful thought processes in therapy. He talked about how some of those with NPD will go to therapy and use what they learn as a playbook to just be better manipulators. I used to watch Gabbie during her big story time era and when she talked about how much she went to therapy, it always felt kinda off. After hearing that guy talk, it almost feels like that’s how she utilized therapy but isn’t as skilled at manipulation.

I’ve been saying for YEARS she has bpd. As someone who has it and is aware of it, she def has it. There are different levels and huge piece of her that refuses to take accountability and realize her actions is a huge part of BPD. Many do not feel remorse for their actions.

I use to be a Gabbie fan… but around the time she bought her house, I saw a shift in her. A shift I wasn’t too fond of. And then shortly after that I started seeing drama after drama involving her. I do think she could get herself back to a good place, but she seriously needs to get herself into some serious therapy, as well as getting her adhd (if she in fact does have it) under control. Cuz the girls manic episodes make the internets head spin.

There's people who work day jobs with special needs dietary and beyond and they don't get people to run to whole foods for them. She is so self absorbed and entitled it hurts to watch. She can't even pack a fucking lunch herself without complaining. Gabbie is exhausting to watch and makes things harder for herself for content and drama it seems like.
