I can’t wear the SMX6 because my ankles and calves are too skinny,
Can these be adjusted to be tighter around the ankle/calf area than the SMX6?
Or should I look elsewhere?

To be fair the only way to know is for you to try them on. That said these boots are designed to be work under the pants so they adjust down smaller than boots designed to be worn over the pants. Strong chance these will work. - Van
If you need a little width, this is the most comfortable boot I have owned. Look at the foot profile straight down beside all of the SMXs. If you have Dainese pants that go over boots, these also work perfectly. Great video, STG.

A* are infamous for being all over the place for sizing. I wear a US13 in everything, but had to order my SMX6-v2 in a US10.5
Their footwear catalog is huge and to be fair most are true to size. The sport boots like the Supertech R, SMX-Plus and SMX-6 all run larger than marked. - Van
Like you I wear a size 12 us and A* SMX in 46Euro. You said the SP-X BOA are roomy for you, would you recommend stepping down to a 45?
I would try the 45 to start in this boot. We are always here to exchange if you need to. - Van
Hey Van you think you can try these on with a booties on? I like the slim line look of these for under ur pants wear but they lateral support is no bueno.
The only boots that offer a lot of lateral ankle support are race focused products. I think it would be difficult to get Supertech inner booties under these. - Van
Would you recommend these when wearing race track pants, so with the pants going inside the shoe?

If you plan to wear leather pants I would suggest wearing a full length boot that comes up over the bottom of the pants. SMX 6, SMX Plus, Supertech R etc... - Van
Thank god someone made a video for these. I’m gonna order online so I have to be careful. My foot is 28cm / 11 inch, so should I go for the 44?? Usually I am a 45 . You wear a 45 on these but what length is your foot? Hope you can help me
I normally wear a 46 Euro but got a better fit out of the 45 in these. - Van

are daineses no longer in stg catalogue?
We do not do much with Dainese as they do not have very strong distribution here in the US. Too difficult to work with and there are other options with excellent product and much better support. - Van

Do you recomand to buy it for every day town ride?
i got the same question, and i mean for 10hrs a day (2 on the bike, 8 in the office) with little walking.

I think these would be excellent for everyday use. If you are going to change them when you get to the office there should not be any problem. - Van
I dont know why you state that they are "roomier" just got them (not from your shop) in my usual size 14 and they are a full size too small for me. I have two more pairs of smx boots in the identical size and they fit perfectly almost half size larger. So my recommendation is to size up from your standard Alpine boots. Just to note that Alpine traners/shoes fit smaller so if you compare this boot to your trainers you'll be fine.
We find all of the Alpinestars Supertech and SMX race boots to fit one size larger than marked for almost everyone. - Van
Can we use this shoes for track day?
Most track day orgs will allow for moto footwear that cover the ankles. - Van

so what about it's CE levels?
We do not focus on the CE certs during the videos as we are retailing in the US. According to European statutory law the CE mark is a conformity requirement for the marketing of this product. The following standards apply: CE EN13634:2017.
