- Build video of full size boat here!
• I Built a Wooden Boat ...
I wanted to take on the challenge of designing my own boat. I thought it would be a good idea to make a small boat to see how my design will work. I made a 1/10 scale model boat with craft plywood and Walnut wood for the supports. I am going to make some small adjustments when I build the full size boat. I used TotalBoat Gleam to protect the wood. I wanted to have some fun with it, so I added remote control parts. I bought a toy boat and took it apart to use the remote control parts for my boat.

That's brilliant.
The glue works like magic! 🦾🦾
Thanks! The glue is awesome!
What spray is that u use after the glue
I built one with exactly the same way and design and it's good but there are somethings that has to be modified about the design especially if it's bigger than my boat, mine is about 2.5 meters in length,
Mainly I recommend to cut the 2 side panels of the boat from underneath like a curve but just a bit, that way you can open these side panels more outside as in reality they will nearly be perpendicular to the boat buttom ,
Also regarding calculating the weight, my way was to use the archimedes law of floatation, it might seem complicated but it's super easy and in general i found that it can hold a lot of weight and it's not something to worry about but i am still yet to try my boat in the water, feel free to contact me if you want 🖐️
Thank you for the suggestions!
Do you have a link for the motor kit by chance? Also what kind of veneer did you use?
I bought a toy boat on Amazon, and took it apart. The plywood is craft plywood.
Bro name this boat lil Titanic
but the Titanic sank...
Links for the motor? Any plans for this on your website?
