I think you actually played it the more complex than the way, Stewart Copeland plays it. I really like Stewart Copeland style however, he uses a lot of delay and does not execute as many notes on the high hat is people think. Essentially one sticky movement is making two sounds
Great cover but overall it's not super difficult. I worked with a reggae band for about 5 years. Once you understand the beat placement in reggae it's pretty easy to improvise this style of stuff.
Bravo, well recorded the whole piece sounded very authentic! Hope to be back in Italy very soon, worked in Brindisi, made a lot of friends while I was there , never been to Naples but will hope to continue my tour of the country after having some personal issues, love the country , the people and the weather ...yes and the gelato and vino cin cin!
La stiamo preparando con col gruppo in cui suono. Davvero di grande aiuto. Mi hai tolto tanti dubbi sull’esecuzione. Hai un tiro formidabile. Grazie di questa perla.
Incredible cover. As a hard-core Police fan. This is one of my favourites and I drum to them almost every day but I cannot get my head around the drums to it. It's the echo that puts me off aswell as not being properly trained. This is the hardest song for me to play. I must level up!! 😂
He only uses the snare as a Snare once (2x) as a Peak note @ +3min and then back to being invisible for the fade out. Great Stuff. "Wrapped around your Finger" is another one where there seems to be no drumming until you see him (or someone) play it. He does not stop and barely sits down for it.
Merci, Vous avez raison!C'est bon de lire du Français, au passage... Meilleure drums cover de Police,de très loin... J'ai appris beaucoup dans cette vidéo,c'est une leçon. Merci Stewart et Merci Pasquale! Bien à vous,
I would say masterful, which it is in accordance to the album track, but Stewart would say that it's perfect to this particular take, because he claims that he always played each take differently.
I take care of my 91-year-old mother. I go to work first, then zip over to her house, cook for her, and then go home. I am usually exhausted when I arrive at my place. I pour a glass of wine and play this video on loop because the drum cadence relaxes me. Again, thanks for this!
4 limbs each playing a different song. Kind of like rubbing your head clockwise, your tummy anti-clockwise, chewing gum and reading a book at the same time.

I liked this, but I just wish you were more forward -esp on the snare - rhythmically it seemed a bit heavy- like you were catching up to each note. I think a big part of this drum track is how SC sounds so light and fast - always anticipating the beat and making it feel as a listener that there is movement.
Yes, an interesting reflection. I tried to do my best but there is always learning to be done, and one can always improve. Thank you for expressing your opinion!
