The KYOSHO does NOT come with Optional Gearing to go 80Mph. But I'm curious to see what tooth will get it there on 4S. A nice little project to aim for.

I see 1st on road RC very soon! Threw on worn set buggy tires on my Serpent Cobra 811te and the street bash was insanely fun!! 😆 onroad, full power Drifting was a new experience I can get used to..... can't hit ramps & triple backflip all the time, gotta shake things up. Great video man. I'm leaning 1/10 Kyosho, Losi, Tamiya or the Vendetta.... Felony,Limitless, Infraction maybe too much as 1st on road car

Nice run bruh. That Kyosho is an awesome car. My first run when I raced the felony my steering rate was at 80% and I did not know. The car kept going wide so I had to tap the brakes to get the car to rotate. Once you get accustom to driving the gt2 it so much fun. It’s not crazy fast but very smooth. How are you liking the gt2?
😁👍🏼💯 If you didn't notice I was really enjoying it. Once I got through babying the car I really figured out how she responds. With it being cold and all the tires didn't have much grip if I tried to push it into the sharp turns. You really have to take good lines and finesse the car around those turns. At least that's what worked for me. Almost, felt like a you're making the car sling shot around corners if that makes any sense.
Tell me, where can I find a body for my Kyosho GT2 1/8 scale AMG Inferno? I've got a few bangs on mines and wanted a fresh and clean one. Thanks!
@FAB NEW YORK No problem you can find them on Kyosho America's website. I placed a link to the body you are asking for in the description of this video. This way everyone can find it and order it and keep it in demand. As you already know the Car is on back order from Kyosho at the time of this comment response. @@MatrixRC Thank you, much appreciated. I just looked at your link and it says that body available is for the Kyosho GT3, not the GT2 1/8 scale. I looked high and low online for the GT2 1/8 scale body, preferably the painted orange version and I've had no luck.
Look again at the link from Kyosho website. The Inferno series on road electric cars are GT2 but the body is a Mercedes AMG GT3 Race car 😂. I know it can be confusing but the chassis or whatever is GT2. In real life the AMG is a GT3. As far as the pre-printed body goes "I CALLED Kyosho America and the part number you're looking for is "IGB112OR." When you Google it will show from international stores. Wait an hour or two and they should update there website with it. Unfortunately, the Prepainted bodies are not available yet in the USA but hopefully by the end or middle of February 2022 they should be. You are going to have to be placed on a waiting list and I highly recommend doing so and getting a couple for they will run out fast. And it will be even harder to get and more expensive. Currently the price for the body is $149.99. I will make a video informing others as yourself who are interested and spreading the word. I'll mention you in the video because you asked and I'm a GT guy at heart. So thank you my fellow subscriber for your awesome contribution.👍🏽💯🔥

I'm kinda new to the hobby thanks to the pandemic and lots of extra time and im now hooked owning about 5 RC's and loving it. This Kyosho GT is my 1st and im really digging how it handles and drives right out the box. I've got a Felony I upgraded to 8s for speed runs but this GT2 is a fun car.

Just random gears I had. No specific brands. As long as they were mod 1 gears.
Have a question, any recommendations for tires for my car. I can't get it to get grip.
GRP tires. Depending on the weather and temperature different compunds will give you more or less grip. Also, you may need to gear down on the pinion. And or use a 3S or 4S lipo. Yoooooo! Just lucked out and found a GT3 Merc. If you happen to check this vid again, are there any setup tips you have?
Will be running a Sanwa M17/FH5, and Hobbywing XeRun XR8 plus with the 1900KV G3 road motor. Have a few Infracrions with track setups. Anything you can hook me up with would be very kind of you.
Good job they are hard to come by. You have the typical track setup already. I would recommend playing with different compounds of tires and play with your differential fluid. Car is pretty much ready for on road racing out the box. Just change remote and servo.
@@MatrixRC Word, bruh! Super familiar with setups and tuning r/cs, but very good to hear it’s pretty dialed out of the box. I’ve heard the 1/8 scale buggy rear sway is a good addition. Those pro-line toyo tyres are pretty sick too, but don’t last very long. Stick with the GRPs and warm them bitches up to 220 deg, lol…guessing 100-200k center, 10-15k front, n 7-10k rear as far as diff fluid? Tryn add ceramic bearings pretty quickly too.
Last question, did you shim your diffs tight to break them in?

DX5 is the way to go. If he ran that infraction on 4s he might be good. 6s in an infraction is too much speed for this
Yea he wasn't doing bad on 6S but I always races mines on 4S. It's just the right power and speed I need to get in and out of turns. 6S is a little more touchy and requires a little more finesse on the throttle.

I'm sorry but the Maxx doesn't handle as well on an on road course as well as the Kyosho or Arrma Infraction. But I know a guy who I've raced with a Maxx (Wide) on an on road oval circuit who driven the car very well. However, it doesn't hold a candle to cars that's meant for on road racing when driven by a decent driver. Off road Maxx all day. But maybe your Maxx is the exception. I would say the car has a good driver and the driver can do even better with the right car.

Straight line I still think the Kyosho will win. I done some test and Maxx top speed is 70mph on stock system. In addition, it grips pretty well off the line. The Maxx will pop a wheelie if you hammer that throttle to hard instead of easing into. That's a loss of power to the ground right there. My Kraton hit a 2.5 in 132ft drag. I known8ts nothing to right about cause those guys down in Texas are doing some crazy numbers with the 1/5 scale trucks. Check that out. I've seen your Maxx off road speed run in the sand. That was fast. Did you ever clock it?
