I’m in Yr 12 and I have my mocks on March 😭 , I do Biology,Chemistry and Maths and so far in my first 3 topic test I’m averaging D’s do I still have time to save my predicted grade to A* since I heard you get predicted after mock or end of Yr12
Hey Nouman thanks for the video! I will try the tip about marking each question one by one instead of at the end 😄What would you recommend if my school doesnt let me keep my topic tests and doesnt give much time in class to review them?
What I’d say for humanities a levels, I’d recommend learning the theory (eg through case studies, being as synoptic as you can) first then plan every single possible question that could come up. THEN spam active recall it! Basically what Nouman said in the video. Also try and do as many essays you can in timed conditions, it’ll make you more comfortable and adjusted to the exam when you actually sit it. GET YOUR TEACHERS TO MARK THE ESSAYS AS WELL, like I’d email them at 8am to mark an essay and annoy them until they did it. The feedback matters a lot!
@RahimAli-lu6jx THIS IS AMAZING ADVICE THANK YOU SO MUCH! I WILL memorize as many essay plans as possible (summarized) and practice essays under timed conditions?
Been having interviews recently and have almost written off the mocks that i had in December. Interviews in January as well, so have been recapping some content over Christmas. Is it difficult to catch up February onwards after the stress of medical interviews?
With both Maths and Science i feel like there's never really much to learn from mistakes made when practicing questions.Dirty peer review question, exercise 6 marker practical, and with maths there are times where i can't do a question but i understand the answer so it feels like i'm not making progress, ykw i mean?
I disagree with this completely icl, most of the progress you make is from learning from incorrect questions because questions always repeat, if you got smth wrong and now understood how you can get it right next time, why wouldn’t you get the question right if you were given one that has a very similar layout, ignoring past mistakes will stop ur progress
Hi there - i recently had to do a German reading and listening paper in school and I got an 8 without rlly doing any revision.. however whenever I acc try to revise German I always procrastinate and I don’t rlly know how. Do u think that it would be possible for me to get a 9 in the real exam and do u have and revision tips? Esp for grammar

Hey Nouman thanks for the video! I will try the tip about marking each question one by one instead of at the end 😄What would you recommend if my school doesnt let me keep my topic tests and doesnt give much time in class to review them?
My skl is the exact same 😭 so what I do is try and take a sneaky pic of all the Q’s I got wrong on my phone then I’ll review them when I get home
Scan the paper on ur phone when u get it back, that’s what I did for some of them where they had to take the papers back
@ Thanks! also why is it better to mark questions one by one?
i do humanities subjects for a-levels (i can’t do practice questions without knowing things) 😩
ahhh yh forgot to mention that for humanities it’s a lil different, obvs I ain’t got the experience for them
