I just discovered you. I live in So Calif and took my first solo trip in September. I visited family and friends and camped by myself. I traveled 2,436 miles by myself! I have a Subaru Forester so quite smaller than your van, but it worked! I’m going to stay close to home over the winter months traveling through CA, AZ, So UT and possibly back to OR weather permitting to see family. Thank you for sharing your adventures!! But with prayers and support from my brother and my family, i finally had the courage to only say YES to things without having to say NO to myself and my kids. I pray that you have the courage and finally take the leap. The right time will come, and when that day comes, there will be no regrets. For now, just be the best of who you are, where you are. I am lucky enough to have just been young at one time, and traveled, I am from central, Ab. I absolutely miss seeing the Mountains, worked at Banff Springs Hotel, and traveled, around Canada now live in Mb. But Ab. Is so beautiful, always will be my home. I miss it, saving this video, literally stumbled across it! Nostalgic but grateful I was a free spirit, beautiful video, you captured the heart of the lakes, and the Mountains, and Lake Louse so green, turquoise.

Hi Pat, yes I do take my kids sometimes. But my kids have work and my youngest have school. But on holidays they come with me, but we mostly fly because they hate long drives now lol. The electric heater works great but it can be expensive to book serviced campsites at all times. So I take these times as a treat to myself haha. Thanks for watching and for your support, Pat! 🥰🙏
I have a van that I have been traveling in. I have a couple of questions. 1) what did that white hose or wire you were wrapping go to? 2)how many inches is your bed? 3)How many watts is your solar power to heat up that cup? I'm askiing because you seem to have more room that I do in my van...I am still trying to figure out how to arrange things. Love Love Love your tranquil videos..
Thank you, the white hose is an extension cord that I use to power my electric heater when I am in a serviced campsite. My bed is probably about 2 ft wide x 5ft long. I have a 100 watt and the cup takes about 60watts. It took 30 min to boil the water which took a lot of power from my Jackery. I prefer to use my butane stove to boil my water instead.
Canada is so beautiful. I have not been back for many years. This crazy Covid mandate is not going to help the travel either. Thanks for taking us along on your adventures. Travel safe!

I want to plan a similar time of year- definitely OFF-SEASON (I REALLY do not like crowds), but with the weather as warm as it can be off-season (want to avoid ice, snow and bitter cold, but I don’t tolerate extreme heat well either). It looks like you travelled just a little after what might be my weather sweet spot- I’d like it a bit warmer (light jacket rather than a heavy coat)!! 😉 Looking forward to Day 6 🌹🧡🤗

Hi Pat, yes I do take my kids sometimes. But my kids have work and my youngest have school. But on holidays they come with me, but we mostly fly because they hate long drives now lol. The electric heater works great but it can be expensive to book serviced campsites at all times. So I take these times as a treat to myself haha. Thanks for watching and for your support, Pat! 🥰🙏

No i inly have a Jackery and i go on serviced campsites hence i am able to use an electric heater. 😀
I have a van that I have been traveling in. I have a couple of questions.
1) what did that white hose or wire you were wrapping go to?
2)how many inches is your bed?
3)How many watts is your solar power to heat up that cup?
I'm askiing because you seem to have more room that I do in my van...I am still trying to figure out how to arrange things.

Thank you, the white hose is an extension cord that I use to power my electric heater when I am in a serviced campsite. My bed is probably about 2 ft wide x 5ft long. I have a 100 watt and the cup takes about 60watts. It took 30 min to boil the water which took a lot of power from my Jackery. I prefer to use my butane stove to boil my water instead.
