I recommend offering an upfront percentage increase between sorted/unsorted and sleeved/unsleeved collections. I would imagine that even 5% each would still increase efficiency enough to make you and the seller more money. Also, this video is a great example of how economies of scale work in real-time, the need for after-action reviews after successful projects, and opportunity costs. The concept of charging higher prices to help pace your staff output, and the desire for mid-priced cards over high-value cards to ensure consistent cash flow all great information. You've basically presented an entire course's worth of knowledge in microeconomics in a 30-minute video.
im a little confused.... someone spent thousands on the set that just came out 2 weeks ago and secret lairs that just came out as well to flip that back to you for 50%? are you sure this isnt just a stolen collection ? this seems kinda sketch.
I mean, based on all the metrics on tcgplayer and on every other site out there it seems says stuff is flying off shelves. It's hard for me to fully wrap my head around.
Singles like this would all move in a week if we priced on TCGplayer at TCG low. We will have to price around 1-2% above market price to keep orders to around 200 per day, and then lower prices over time.
You know all the guys and I'm 43 but all the older guys told me just buy up that Pokemon first edition keep that s*** sealed and you'll be sitting pretty in 20 years and I was like whatever
if this collection sold for 20k. imagine what the "average price" is; once fully catalogued? probably a 50k collection if you take the time and list each and every card; even the bullshit ones

Thank you Louie! You and your staff are incredible!
Why would you do that. You could have spent that money on AL
Louie is like Coinstar. Dump cards in the hopper and money comes out. 🤣

I'm confused as well. Monty Python JUST came out. I'd keep an eye out for someone who's missing this lot of inventory.
It wasn't a stolen collection. It was done out of desperation I assure you (I know the guy :P)
sometimes people fall on hard times, you're closer to being homeless than you are to being rich
might have been an emergency sale.
@@itzrixis1919 id rather be homeless than be a fool to give up my collection . every person who sells his; will fall upon "regret"
I'm happy you've expanded your love of tcg's. Metazoo, Kryptic, and Sorcery shouldn't be your only love.
And what did you pay for this collection???
do you consider the perfect fit side loader sleeves as "sleeved" or actual game play sleeves?
Love this video. Wish I wouldn't have pieced out my collection and just sent all to you. Still have a ton of modern cards and decks...maybe...lol
You’ve got my email! Thanks for watching
OH WOW! out of a $20K collection, you chose the Monty Python Secret Lair?? That's a huge indicator of the value of that product.
Interesting collection. Would never touch this as it's modern, but still cool to see.
I'd love to know what your inventory turnover is. The volume singles hustle is a different beast.

Pro tip: “Paying more money for the cards” should be second to paying more money for employee retention.

Ms Bumbleflower, got em 😂
Paid for by metazoo ks cards and other ks games that hosed the speculaters.
What about all the early flippers that made money of those? Do they owe him something now?
I love sorting cards, I do it daily for free lol
i thought he bought boosters
That's what we do here to
54 lbs… also what George has lost on ozempic.
Hahahahahaghaga
Your TCGplayer prices are way over market value.
50% for a 20k collection. This is why mtg game stores close.
