- Another August, another mosquito control action with the PZL M-18 Dromader and AN-2 crop dusters! Filming these planes from up close is incredible, you can feel the pure power these 1000hp radial engines are producing! And the sound is deafening… really i had to turn down sound a bit to avoid crackling noise in the audio. Enjoy in this amazing sight and sound!
Filmed at Lisicji Jarak Airport (LYBJ).

U septembru sam bio u gostima kod pilota i pilota u penziji privredne avijacije na Lisičijem Jarku povodom završetka ovogodišnjih radova i tom prilikom sam napravio nekoliko fotografija od YU-BLX na kojem je moj pokojni otac 07.06.1979 počeo obuku na ovaj tip aviona takođe sam slikao i YU-BNV sa kojim je 20.09.1988 krenuo na let ka Alžiru na suzbijanje najezde skakavaca.Lepo je što posle toliko godina oni i dalje lete zaista su izvanredni avioni!!!

Moj otac je verovatno bio zajedno sa vasim ocem na obuci jer je nakon dobijanja licence isao u Poljsku po jedan od aviona koji su bili stacionirani u Vrscu.

Wow! Same plane as in the Disney Planes movies. So Nice to see. Are they always there to take photos of ?
M-18 Dromader looks like Piper Pawnee!!
Yes and Polish engineers admit that they looked at Piper when building a Dromader but everything inside the plane is new and overall only the shape is similar to Pawnee
The guy at 12:10 landing doesn’t have the tail wheel lock figured out yet
Mmmmm…a pawnee? Maybe…love the round motor sound and have flown several types including this piece of doodoo….ok at sea level but fighting fires in Oregon was ….difficult….only carry 500 g and most guys would pinch off a bit so it would actually fly….one bad plug and it’s an accident looking for a place to happen…..starting is a pain, then you spend 20min cleaning oil off the windscreen…so glad when they got rid of them and went to AT -802 ‘s….a real airplane.
What this camera ?
Rather have an Airtractor of any model!!!!
Sorry for you. Dromaders are better than Airtractors.
