I never even knew there was a horde that would respawn or doesnt count as one of the horde killer objective.. I’m on my 4th play through and this game just gets better every time.
I love it when experienced players learn new stuff from my videos too. Sure, I make most of this stuff to benefit new players but skill players can always tighten up a bit too. Thanks for watching!
Once you get the SMP9 you don't even have to get off your bike to kill and collect the Belknap spawn. Just ride through and start shooting them as you ride by. They will run out of the cave and you just need to drive fast enough to keep ahead of them. Doesn't get any easier than that! LOL You might have to make a second pass but it's all good. Great information and very well done. Your voice is perfect for this stuff and 8-Bit Terrors' edits are fire!
Another great informative video! Something else you can do early game to farm freaker ears that respawn is go to the gated fenced area beneath the power station at the dam in the Cascades. The freakers that live in the nests there will come out at night and you can shoot them through the fence or chuck a Molotov at them! They can’t get out so you’re safe, and you can collect a handful here each time since they do respawn. Obviously you can only do this up until the time you do the mission with Rikki, but every little bit helps, right? 😉
I forget about those guys! My first 10 playthroughs I couldn't figure out why there were Freakers *under* the power plant sometimes.... Oh yeah, there's a Nest down there dummy 🤣
Good to know. I tried that several times with the Spruce Lake Ambush and couldn't get it to work. Until I started testing for this video, I always assumed they respawn just like the hidden loot locations; every 4 days.
I haven’t totally tested it as I’m in Survival II so no fast travel, but I think if you travel to the closest camp sleep, then go back they’re there. I kinda do it organically like the loot locations, in passing , Oh, I’m here might as well get some! 😀
Damn Rex, these tutorial videos are just fucken top notch! Well done my friend…this is why I’ve personally became a better player at DG..because of your tips and tricks. Thank you!
Got scared the first time when I saw there was a horde in these camps. Got even more scared when I returned and found out that these particular hordes respawn. LOL.
I wish somebody would give me a PlayStation controller that effects real life like the television remote in that Adam Sandler movie 😂 I could do some interesting things with something like that...... 😎
You don't even need to leave the area nor sleep - just kill em, save, load latest save, rinse and repeat ad nauseum EDIT: And if you want a relatively safe way to do each, read the following. Belknap, 25 respawning freakers: until you have better weapons you can use the bike at the top of the corridor where the horde come up to camp. Park it next to the wooden barrier on the bunker side so it blocks the freakers a bit, slowing them down. Combine it with the gas can duplication glitch if you're super stressed with taking on hordes. Spruce Lake Nero/Ambush camp, 50 respawning freakers: Near the generator there is a humvee with crates stacked up on one side of it. Freakers can only climb humvees via the sides of the hood so park the bike along the side without crates, blocking access from that direction. Climb crates and stand on the hood. Couple gun shots will get the horde moving. Wait for em to touch ground before shooting to prevent accidentally killing em where their ears aren't retrievable - open fire! Collect ears, climb onto hood, save, reload - rinse and repeat until you're at max capacity. Again if you're stressed taking em on you can combine with gas can duplication glitch to add a little cushioning and let yourself adjust to taking them on, the more you do it the easier it gets. Sorry so long! I suck at concise and figured details are probably good to include.
This is a great comment and I love the tips here. My only edit would be to suggest using my Hidden Loot Location video to collect Proximity Mines and Proximity Bombs first, then use those to mine the paths that the Horde will take as they approach you. These items are far more powerful, and reliable, than the fuel cans. The actual bombs can even be acquired naturally while playing the game, without any glitches. I'd like to make one other suggestion here if I may. I started making videos because I got tired of typing out long responses basically repeating the same tips to new players as they found their way to the Days Gone sub reddit. I eventually found that it was simply easier to SHOW people how to do it 😂 Thanks for the detailed comment and as always, thanks for watching! @@SpawnicusRex Ooh! I love those tips & ideas. Would absolutely help people who are really afraid of the hordes &/or don't want to use glitches at all. My only hesitation with it would be that _relying_ on those would severely limit the amount of times you could respawn the horde without leaving the area to collect more. When I start feeling impatient with trust level points I sometimes use these respawning horded to max out my ears, sell em for credits & trust points, rinse & repeat so being able to do it as many times as possible each trip is a huge help. Perhaps the ideal method would be to combine the two: use the loot locations to set up traps & back up plans to fall back on until you're comfortable enough to go head on (obv I mean the generalized "you" here, as opposed to you specifically - you don't seem to need the help 😁) I have absolutely _zero_ desire to ever make videos - sounds dreadful imo! 😁 Luckily for me and the rest of the community, folks like you, Borislav 247, GreyGhost Gamerz, etc exist & are willing to create content for us to consume & learn from, thank you for that!
I have only had that happen once during roughly 25 (maybe more, I lost count lol) playthroughs and I always assumed I either missed one or it just glitched that one time. I'm pretty sure the other hordes will respawn if given time. The two hordes in the video are the only ones I know of that can be "farmed" consistently. Hope this helps 👍
I've always had a really hard stance against slavers in the video games that I play, they are usually "Kill On Sight" 🤣 I only deal with Tucker for the same reason Deacon does, she's got the best early game guns!

I feel like this plan was made by early game Deacon, “After I kill a few of the bastards…” 😂❤ awesome tip!

Really useful information, as always! (0:48 poor kid 😁)
I used to be a little bit bothered by killing the Newts but that was so very satisfying! Thanks bud
@@SpawnicusRex yeah I don't have much of a problem with it either. I wonder what that says about me...? LMAO

Great Video! Clear and very helpful.
Top stuff, Rex, as always! Keep the tips coming!
Hey Kwaz! We have tons of these planned!
Another awesome video Rex, I farm the freaker ears from those two camps a lot. It’s a cool way to get lots of credits and or trust 👍🏻👍🏻
Another AMAZING video from @spawnicusrex 🥰 The grandmaster delivers yet again!
My editor did a great job!
Rex in my experience(at least in Belknap) all you have to do is sleep overnight there and the horde will respawn.
Good to know. I tried that several times with the Spruce Lake Ambush and couldn't get it to work. Until I started testing for this video, I always assumed they respawn just like the hidden loot locations; every 4 days.
Quick save and load, they respawn immediately. Belknap
@@Eazzyb15 that works at both camps (save & load) I've maxed out ears several times at each doing this and getting used to killing the hordes.
@@Eazzyb15 The real tips are always in the comments? 😆

Turn adversity into advantage, farm them for profit!

Breaking the economy in Fallout....breaking the economy in DG for unlimited currency.
We need Rex to do this to help eliminate the US national debt 💵💲

Doesn't sawmill horde respawn as well if you do it before the main mission?

Does the Chase bank glitch works in this game? 🤣

Nice try.
Wow! To
Levelup and kill hordes you need farm hordes. Really, guides for days gone are worst, or it’s because of it is a playstation game?
