    You need to make these breakdowns your 'THING'. I can't follow 100% of the time but I can get the gist of it as I'm sure most can. You totally got me into the white ink printer. I'm not at all new to the screen printing biz. Do a breakdown Wednesday or something like that and choose an area of operation in your shop to break down. Even other hypotheticals. I assume you have some sort of a degree in finance or business.

    Great video! Up at $1,500 for toner cartridge replacement, for the whole set, this is prohibitive for us small guys doing small orders occasionally. So I will hav to continue with vinyl, screen print and things like the Forever Flex paper for regular printers… 🤷‍♂️

    Tattered flags from failed southern uprisings. LOL of the day, thanks man.
    Thanks for the practicle info. Makes me wonder what is the mechanical difference made for white toner. I other words, why is the printer $3,500?! When other color lasers are much cheaper.

    • @brandsandempires
      @brandsandempires  4 ปีที่แล้ว +6

      Good question, after having seen behind the curtain, these are more akin to several thousand dollar commercial printers than the desktop and office printers we're used to. A printer that is rated for 200,000 sheets a month is mechanically a different animal. Semi truck vs a Ford ranger lol. That, a rework of the guts, firmware, and super low volume of sales compared to general use lasers and they aren't cheap, but they are fairly priced when viewed through that lens.

      From an operating cost standpoint it's in a league of it's own. I haven't really talked about it vs other laser transfer printers in videos, but the operating costs are a fraction because the toner cartridge is separate from the drum, as well as the brightness of the toner allowing for less coverage at the same opacity.

    Really good information on this video. But, where's the fire? The pace of this in-depth content, regardless of how well you articulate it, is presented so fast it leaves viewers little time to process. It sounds like run-on after run-on. Why so fast? Just encouraging you to consider the audience when setting the pace. You clearly have command of the content. Best wishes.
