MHADA News. Applying for MHADA houses is now going to be easier. A single permanent registration has been started for MHADA Mumbai Board. After getting his registration number he can apply for any board of MHADA. The registration process will start from Thursday, January 5. Aspirants will have to submit PAN Card, Income Proof along with Aadhaar Card and Residence Proof. Aspirants will have to submit PAN Card, Income Proof along with Aadhaar Card and Residence Proof. MHADA has made significant changes in its computerized lottery system for sale of flats constructed by MHADA and using the latest technology, the lottery process is now completely human involvement-free.
“The lottery has further become transparent, easy and secure. The entire process from applying for a flat to possession has now been made online,” informed the Vice President and Chief Executive Officer of MHADA, Anil Diggikar.
IHLMS 2.0 (Integrated Housing Lottery Management System) is a new computerized lottery system for sale of flats in housing projects in the state by MHADA.
The process will be handled with the help of blockchain technology, the information and documents submitted by citizens in digital form will be permanently stored in an automated blockchain system. Also, this system will be automatically updated from time to time.
The registration process will be open indefinitely for citizens to participate in the draw. During the registration process the applicant will receive a unique number and based on this a separate permanent profile of the applicant will be created in the new computerized lottery system.
The new computerized lottery system will enable MHADA as as accurate verification of applicants’ applications will be done instantly through this system.
In the prevailing lottery system, the eligibility of the applicant was determined after winning the lottery. However, in the new system, applicants who fulfill all the documents prescribed by MHADA as per the checklist during the registration process will be eligible candidates in MHADA’s flat sale process.
In this way the eligibility of the applicants will be determined before the draw and only the applicants qualified by this system will be able to participate in the draw.
According to the prevailing method, 21 documents were called from the winning applicants for eligibility determination. However, only 7 types of documents will be accepted under the new system. The affidavit, self-declaration and acceptance letter will be created through the computerized system and signed by the applicant’s Aadhaar e-signature.

The Gram Panchayat in my area used to charge Rs 2000 as professional tax every year from us and the municipality nearby charged a small amount of about Rs 500. The panchayat is good for nothing and doesn't do anything and cries that they need the money because they don't get enough fund and won't let the municipality take the area under it as well because they will lose their power. From this year the state govt took it online and we paid Rs 750 professional tax for 3 years i.e. Rs 250 for per year. We paid lower than the municipal tax. The govt providing online payment is an effective and proven way to increase taxes as well as cut down on corruption.

Why this tunnel+ground+elevated method isn't used for all crowded city roads? This maybe cheaper than flyover and we have more usable space. 8 lanes in tunnel and 10 on ground. Plus we can have metro on elevation. Like we do have in Gurgaon Golf course road.
In this method we have three side support to carry ground concrete slabs. Both ends plus in centre. So we need less concrete n iron and cable streching. Other hand In elevated road we have one thick piller with lots of dense concrete n iron. Taking load on wings carring 3 lanes on both sides.
