I built my router into my existing bench. Similar design as yours, for the lift I fitted a second-hand scissor jack under the router to provide lift. works great. Nice video - enjoyed it.
Great build mate, mistakes happen and it's good to show people that as well. As for the fence you said about locking the fence down one end, unless i miss heard you? but why not do the two t-tracks running alongside the router top as you said, and make the fence and drill two holes into it, and a couple of bolts and star knobs, and lock the fence down into the t-track? but you prob thought of that already. Hey Barry! Good to hear from you! Yeah, T track would be the way to go, but getting here in Ireland is near impossible without paying a Kings ransome in shipping costs! My cross cut sled has a length of t track on it, but that little length cost me over €50! Think I'll route some groves through the ply, and secure with bolts from below with home made star knobs!
